Photo Coverage: Trailblazing Women Gather at the Golden Theatre for the First Broadway Preview of ECLIPSED!

The new American play ECLIPSED by Danai Gurira just began Broadway previews last night, starring Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong'o, Pascale Armand, Akosua Busia, Zainab Jah and Saycon Sengbloh. ECLIPSED, directed by Liesl Tommy, will open on March 6, 2016 on Broadway at the Golden Theatre (252 W. 45th Street). ECLIPSED marks a historic moment on Broadway: the first time the cast, director, and playwright are composed entirely of female artists, fitting for a production that so stunningly chronicles the experiences of a group of very resilient women. To celebrate, the show hosted some of the industry's other trailblazing and history-making women for the first preview. THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN's popular viral segment “Carpool Karaoke” hit a new high note today with “Adele Carpool Karaoke” surpassing 67.5 million views, making it the most watched Late Night YouTube clip ever. According to data from Tubular Labs, the “Adele Carpool Karaoke” clip is also the fastest-growing Late Night clip on YouTube. Within its first five days on YouTube, the clip had generated a record breaking 42 million views. In addition, the video drove a double-digit percentage increase in subscribers to the show's YouTube Channel in that same time period.
