After a nationwide search, full casting for the highly anticipated production, DUCK COMMANDER MUSICAL, is now available. Based on the best-selling book The Duck Commander Family by Willie and Korie Robertson, preview performances for DUCK COMMANDER MUSICAL will begin April 8. The production will make its world premiere at the Crown Theater inside Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino on April 15. The talented cast features Broadway veterans and Las Vegas locals who will join the company in celebration of the Robertson family's rags-to- riches story.

It probably will go down as one of Cafe Carlyle's most memorable 15 minutes. In this, his 10th year of sold out shows at The Carlyle, Steve gave his audience a spectacular musical surprise. It happened midway through his Brill Building songwriters tribute show titled 'That Lovin Feelin' as he announced that Neil Sedaka was in the house.

There were some temporary fences set up around The Carlyle yesterday. I knew that Steve Tyrell who's appearing in the Cafe was selling out, and it was a difficult ticket but this wasSunday night his day off. I guess it was to control the entry into Bemelmans where Jim Caruso and Billy Stritch have been entertaining overflow crowds.
Of course it was for Prince William and Duchess Kate who are staying at The Carlyle during there visit to New York City.

Lots of times there are signature sounds. A voice seems like it was always meant to be heard in a certain venue. It's a perfect fit. At Yankee Stadium it was announcer Bob Sheppard, For CBS News it was Walter Cronkite and for the Carlyle it was Bobby Short. It will always be Steve Tyrell for this Father of The Brides.
