Jackman wase on hand to accept his Salute, along with Alec Baldwin and Mike Nichols (both past MMI Salutees), Rachel Weisz, Anne Hathaway, Liev Schreiber, Universal's Ron Meyer, Fox's Jim Gianopulos and many of his fellow cast-mates from Les Miserables. The Guthrie Theater today announced complete casting for its production of Eugene O'Neill's semi-autobiographical masterwork Long Day's Journey into Night. For the first time in its 50-year history, the Guthrie will present this Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning family drama under the direction of Artistic Director Joe Dowling. The production will star actors Peter Michael Goetz and Helen Carey in the roles of James and Mary Tyrone. James is an aging actor and Mary is his rambling, morphine-addicted wife-both struggle to helm a dysfunctional family racked by addiction, despair and festering guilt. (more...)

Comedic star Alonzo Bodden has entertained crowds worldwide with his hilarious stand-up routine. This February, Bodden will take his international touring act to the Comix stage for four shows starting Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8 p.m., with additional performances Friday, Feb. 8 at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 9 at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for advance general admission ($30 day of show) and $40 for advance VIP admission ($50 day of show). VIP admission includes priority club access and reserved table selection before general seating begins. A two-drink minimum applies to all tickets, which are on sale now.
