Ah, liaisons! Old love is rekindled, young love is awakened, and foolish romantic escapades intertwine in Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler's ravishing A Little Night Music, opening Friday, July 10 (8pm) at Palm Beach Dramaworks. This concert presentation, which runs through July 19 at the Don & Ann Brown Theatre, is directed by Lynnette Barkley, with musical direction by Kevin David Thomas. Leading the cast are William Michals, who previously captivated audiences in PBD's concert productions of Man of La Mancha and The Most Happy Fella; and Sondheim veteran Joy Franz, who created the role of the Stepmother in the original production of Into the Woods.

The final recording and complete box set of The Nielsen Project - the New York Philharmonic's acclaimed multi-season survey of the six symphonies and three concertos by Danish composer Carl Nielsen (1865-1931) - will be released today, June 9, 2015, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the composer's birth.

This musical is about marriage and commitment, and it is set in New York City. COMPANY is considered one of the more challenging musicals for the cast, crew and orchestra, but if it is done well it provides for a highly enjoyable evening of theatrical entertainment. David Ian Productions and the Ambassador Theatre Group have announced that JASON DONOVAN will play the role of 'Tick' in the UK tour of the international smash hit musical PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT at the following venues - Hull New Theatre (28 September - 3 October 2015), Wimbledon New Theatre (5 - 10 October 2015), Bradford Alhambra (12 - 17 October 2015), Birmingham Alexandra Theatre (20 - 24 October 2015), Aylesbury Waterside Theatre (26 - 31 October 2015), York Grand Opera House (30 November - 5 December 2015) Edinburgh Playhouse (15 December 2015 - 2 January 2016), Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff (12 - 16 January 2016), Royal Concert Hall Nottingham (18 - 23 January 2016) and Liverpool Empire (25 - 30 January 2016).

It was announced today that Judy Blazer will join the cast of the Tony Award winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, in the role of Miss Shingle.  She will begin performances on Tuesday, June 30.  Carole Shelley, who currently fills the role, will play her final performance on Sunday, June 28.
