After breaking ticket office records and selling out in record time in 2009, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton January 26, 2011 through February 20, 2011.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time last year, WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster, will return to Indianapolis' Murat Theatre at Old National Centre December 15-January 1. Tickets for the return engagement go on sale Friday, October 15.

After breaking box office records and selling out in record time in 2007, WICKED, the smash-hit musical, will return to Orlando's Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre February 23 through March 27, 2011.

The producers of 9 to 5: The Musical are pleased to announce the cast for the musical, which runs November 9 - 21, 2010 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, located at 800 Bagby (77002).

9 to 5: The Musical launched its first national tour September 21, 2010 at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville.

The New York Times now has further details, including word that the Stafford Arima directed production is aiming for Off Broadway, produced by MCC and to play the Lucille Lortel Theater. American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) announces the star-studded cast of the upcoming workshop of Armistead Maupin's Tales of the City. Tony Award winner and Broadway legend Betty Buckley (Sunset Boulevard, Cats on Broadway) takes on the beloved character of Anna Madrigal, and Tony Award-nominated actor Stephen Bogardus (Love! Valour! Compassion!, Man of La Mancha, and Falsettos on Broadway) plays Edgar Halcyon, Mrs. Madrigal's love interest. Up-and-coming performer Betsy Wolfe (Everyday Rapture, Into the Woods on Broadway) plays Mary Ann Singleton, the naïve Midwestern transplant to San Francisco at the center of the story. A.C.T. core acting company member and Tony Award-nominated actor Manoel Felciano (Sweeney Todd on Broadway; Rock 'n' Roll, and John Doyle's The Caucasian Chalk Circle at A.C.T.) portrays Norman Neal Williams, joined by two graduates of A.C.T.'s acclaimed Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) Program: Bay Area actor Nick Gabriel as Michael Tolliver (aka Mouse) and Morgan Spector (who most recently appeared with Scarlett Johansson and Liev Schreiber in A View from the Bridge on Broadway) as Brian Hawkins.

Howie Michael Smith - who appeared in AVENUE Q on Broadway from 2006 through 2009 as Princeton/Rod, playing the role over 1,000 times - will resume his role in the Tony Award-winning musical beginning Monday, September 27th at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) in Manhattan.

As BroadwayWorld has previously reported, producers Jeffrey Seller and Kevin McCollum, resurrected the infamous flop musical CARRIE for an Equity reading that had a notoriously short 3 night, 5 performance run on Broadway in 1988. The reading took place on November 20, 2009. The hope is to bring 'Carrie' and her supernatural powers back to the Broadway stage.
