59E59 Theaters has announced that Prospect Theater Company will join 59E59 in a residency that will premiere one new musical a year, over three years, in Theater A at the Off Broadway complex.

Producers of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical have announced that his March for the brand-new production at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street). A grant of $20,000 has been awarded to Westport Country Playhouse by Connecticut Humanities to support a series of community events surrounding the Playhouse's current production of Pulitzer Prize winner Ayad Akhtar's topical thriller, 'The Invisible Hand.' The programs are free-of-charge, open to the public, and continue through August 8.
