At a press conference held May 31 in the lobby of the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) announced 237 nominations for the 39th Annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards, which recognize excellence in the performing arts in Toronto.

"WOW - WORLD OF WONDER," the internationally-acclaimed production that transports audiences into a world of water, wonder and fantasy celebrated its 250th performance at the Rio Showroom at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 22, 2018.

Blumenthal Performing Arts announces another extraordinary lineup for its upcoming 2018-19 PNC Broadway Lights season featuring eight new shows including six time 2017 Tony Award and 2018 Grammy Award winning Best Musical Dear Evan Hansen, Tony-winning Best Musical Revival Hello, Dolly! starring Broadway legend Betty Buckley and the hit Broadway musical Disney's Aladdin.

The 2018/19 Mirvish season will feature six Canadian premieres, one North American premiere, one pre-Broadway engagement and five new productions. A total of 16 shows will play at Mirvish theatres from June 2018 to July 2019. The main subscription season will feature seven shows and the Off-Mirvish season three shows. There will be six bonus shows that will not be on subscription.

Broadway In Chicago, Starvox Entertainment and Potted Productions are delighted to announce that Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Potter Experience A Parody by Dan and Jeff will be extending its Chicago engagement for a second time this winter at Broadway In Chicago's Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. The Orpheum Theatre Group has learned from Starvox Booking and Starvox Entertainment that Disenchanted the Musical's author has withdrawn its license from Theatrical Rights Worldwide, and he has retained the rights to the show directly. As a result, Starvox Entertainment is unable to move forward with its 2018 production of the tour effectually canceling the scheduled Halloran Centre engagement March 16-17, 2018.
