Theatre Out, Orange County's gay and lesbian theatre, presents the Orange County Premiere of SOUTHERN BAPTIST SISSIES the dark comedy by Del Shores, creator of Sordid Lives. SOUTHERN BAPTIST SISSIES, with performances running from August 13 through September 4, examines the conflicting experiences of four boys growing up in Texas as they struggle with what they know is right and what the church tells them is right.

Beginning previews tonight, May 28 at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival will be a new production of EVITA directed by Gary Griffin. The show will play at the Avon Theatre in Startford, Ontario. Starring in the show will be Chilina Kennedy as Eva Peron and Josh Young as Che Guevara. Juan Chioran will play President Juan Peron, and Vince Staltai will play Magaldi.

Emmy® Award-winning actress, comedienne and singer Megan Mullally returns to the Orange County Performing Arts Center with her band Supreme Music Program October 7 - 10 to open the 2010-2011 Cabaret Series in Samueli Theater.

Los Angeles based writer Shyla Marlin, along director Nick Mills prepare to unleash Still Standing, the next in their line of projects. The play follows the dramatic story of a family's ever changing makeup, and is set in New Orleans during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Primary Stages, in association with Ted Snowdon, launches its 26th season with the New York premiere of SECRETS OF THE TRADE by Jonathan Tolins directed by Matt Shakman.
