OC's Theatre Out Closes SOUTHERN BAPTIST SISSIES, 9/4

Theatre Out, Orange County's gay and lesbian theatre, presents the Orange County Premiere of SOUTHERN BAPTIST SISSIES the dark comedy by Del Shores, creator of Sordid Lives. SOUTHERN BAPTIST SISSIES, with performances running from August 13 through September 4, examines the conflicting experiences of four boys growing up in Texas as they struggle with what they know is right and what the church tells them is right.

Kennedy, Chioran, Young et al. Set For EVITA At Stratford Shakespeare Festival, 5/28-8/30

Beginning previews tonight, May 28 at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival will be a new production of EVITA directed by Gary Griffin. The show will play at the Avon Theatre in Startford, Ontario. Starring in the show will be Chilina Kennedy as Eva Peron and Josh Young as Che Guevara. Juan Chioran will play President Juan Peron, and Vince Staltai will play Magaldi.
