Theatre of NOTE Presents POTENTIAL SPACE World Premiere, 9/21-10/27

Theatre of NOTE continues its 2012 season with the world premiere of POTENTIAL SPACE written by Kirsten Vangsness and directed by Bill Voorhees. POTENTIAL SPACE will preview Friday, September 21st and Saturday, September 22nd, and will open on Friday, September 28th at 8pm and run through Saturday, October 27th at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N. Cahuenga Blvd. (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.

The Lower Depth Theatre Ensemble presents the West Coast premiere of ELMINA'S KITCHEN, written by award-winning playwright Kwame Kwei-Armah, directed by Gregg T. Daniel. This gut-wrenching drama is set in the notorious "Murder Mile" section of London's East End. ELMINA'S KITCHEN examines the bitter clash of values between three generations of black men and its effect on their family and community. The play runs tonight, August 11 through September 9. Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 4pm. The Lost Studio, 130 S. La Brea, Los Angeles, Calif.

Rubicon's Musical Theatre Camp Presents ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, Now thru 8/12

Rubicon's Summer Youth Theatre programs continue with the much anticipated Musical Theatre Camp production. Last Summer's production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was honored with an Indy Award from the Santa Barbara Independent for Musical Direction by John Enrico Douglas. This Summer, Douglas joins the artistic team again for Once On This Island, a highly original and theatrical Caribbean fairy tale.
