Collider Theater presents the world premiere production of LOVE, SEX AND DEATH IN THE AMAZON opening tonight, October 10 at The Paradise Factory at 64E4 in the East Village.

Center Theatre Group presents 'Sandbox@CTG: An Open Conversation with Playwright Will Eno,' in the rehearsal room at the Kirk Douglas Theatre for a special one-night-only DouglasPlus event, Monday, November 2, 2015, at 8 p.m.

In a special limited engagement, Signature Theatre presents the world premiere production of Georgie: The Life and Death of George Rose written and performed by Broadway veteran Ed Dixon (Broadway's Anything Goes, Signature's Sunset Boulevard). Directed by Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Gigi, Follies, and Million Dollar Quartet), this one-man play chronicles Dixon's relationship with his friend and mentor, the Tony-award winning character actor George Rose (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, My Fair Lady, Pirates of Penzance). Georgie: The Life and Death of George Rose will play in Signature's ARK Theatre from January 8 - February 7, 2016.

Paper Mill Playhouse opens its 2015-2016 season with the world premiere musical THE BANDSTAND. Performances begin tonight, October 8.

Long before the devil wore Prada -- 20 years ago, in fact -- the story of the irrepressible Diana Vreeland first commanded the stage of the Globe in a world premiere in 1995. Oscar and Tony Award winner Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King, Lost in Yonkers) now brings "The Empress of Fashion" back in FULL GALLOP. Written by Mark Hampton and Mary Louise Wilson and directed by Andrew Russell. Both critics and audiences are loving it, and FULL GALLOP will now add a limited week of additional performances, extending through Sunday, November 1, 2015, in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

Yale Repertory Theatre opens its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of INDECENT, a new play with music, written by Paula Vogel, created by Paula Vogel and Rebecca Taichman, and directed by Rebecca Taichman, at the University Theatre (222 York Street), now through October 24. Opening Night is tonight, October 8. The world premiere of INDECENT is a co-production with La Jolla Playhouse, where it will play November 13-December 10.

Signature Theatre presents GIRLSTAR, directed by Signature Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer (Broadway's Gigi, Follies, Million Dollar Quartet). Featuring book and lyrics by Anton Dudley (Second Stage's Getting Home) and music by Brian Feinstein (New World Stages' Mimi Le Duck), this world premiere musical fairytale runs in the MAX Theatre October 13 - November 15. TheatreWorks Silicon Valley continues its 2015/2016 season with David Auburn's brilliant contemporary drama Proof, winner of the Tony Award for Best Play and the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. This riveting masterpiece tells the still timely tale of a young woman caught in a quest for legitimacy in the male dominated world of high-level science. It is a mystery of family instability and fledgling romance, an exhilarating, funny, and fulfilling tribute to the humanity that permeates our world of equations, equivocations, and codes. Proof will be directed by TheatreWorks Associate Artistic Director Leslie Martinson and features a talented cast including L. Peter Callender, Michelle Beck, Ashley Bryant, and Lance Gardner.

Signature Theatre has announced that tickets are now on sale for the special return engagement of Old Hats, created and performed by Bill Irwin and David Shiner, now with music and lyrics by and featuring Shaina Taub. Tina Landau will once again direct the production The New York Times called 'the secret to eternal youth!' 

Kansas City Repertory Theatre continues its 2015-16 season and its commitment to the creation of unforgettable new plays with the WORLD PREMIERE of Blueprints to Freedom: An Ode to Bayard Rustin, written by and starring Michael Benjamin Washington and directed by the critically acclaimed Lucie Tiberghien. This story is more than relevant. It's riveting. Those who stand up for equality in 2015 are following in the footsteps of Bayard Rustin, the lesser known but powerfully influential civil rights leader who orchestrated the March on Washington and stepped forward himself as an openly gay man at a time when few had the courage to do so. In this ode, an exiled Rustin masterminds 'a tribute to the ancestors' 100 years after the Emancipation Proclamation. This exciting production begins Friday, Oct. 16 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 15 at KC Rep's Copaken Stage in the Power & Light District in downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

Cedric Neal (Berry Gordy) and Lucy St. Louis (Diana Ross) will lead the cast in the West End production of Motown the Musical, opening at the Shaftesbury Theatre in February 2016.  With music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and book by Motown founder Berry Gordy, Motown the Musical is directed by Charles Randolph-Wright.  London previews will begin on 11 February 2016, with press night on 8 March 2016, with the show booking to 22 October 2016.

North Carolina Theatre is proud to announce the newest cast member joining their anticipated revival of Into the Woods. Twan Baker will perform as the baby to the "Baker" and his wife at Raleigh Memorial Auditorium in the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts, October 20-25, 2015.

Signature Theatre is presenting the world premiere production of Cake Off, a new musical by Sheri Wilner (Kingdom City), Julia Jordan (Murder Ballad) and Adam Gwon (Signature's The Boy Detective Fails). Directed by Signature's Director of New Works Joe Calarco (Signature's Gypsy, Shakespeare's R&J) this hilarious new musical is a battle-of-the-sexes set at the 50th Annual Millberry Cake-Off competition. To benefit their 2016 return to their East Village home, Performance Space 122 (PS122) and Executive Producer Anson Mount bring together widely acclaimed playwright Eric Bogosian and director Jo Bonney, along with their close friends, for two-nights of hand-selected, intimate performances from Bogosian's 100 Monologues series.

As part of the 25th Anniversary season, Signature Theatre (James Houghton, Founding Artistic Director; Erika Mallin, Executive Director) has announced that it will produce a new video series called "Signature Voices." The series aims to capture the history, artistry and personal moments that have taken place at Signature Theatre over the past quarter century.

Signature Theatre has announced casting is confirmed and tickets are now on sale for Night is a Room, written by Residency One playwright Naomi Wallace and directed by Bill Rauch. Night is a Room, the third and final production of Wallace's residency, runs November 3, 2015 to December 13, 2015 with a Sunday, November 22 opening night in The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). The Huntington Theatre Company presents the world premiere production of A Confederacy of Dunces, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by John Kennedy Toole, directed by David Esbjornson (Guess Who's Coming to Dinner and All My Sons) and featuring Nick Offerman of NBC's 'Parks and Recreation.'  Performances begin November 11, 2015 and will run through December 13, 2015 at the BU Theatre / Avenue of the Arts.
