Today, Friday, February 19, Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops announced details of the orchestra's 125th anniversary season, May 4-June 20, 2010, outlining programs that celebrate the orchestra's rich tradition of performing the great music of this country's past and present, for which the Boston Pops is so well known.

On April 25, the TV Land Awards featured a special tribute to GLEE, which was the recipient of the 'Future Classic Award'. The performance of 'Don't Stop Believin' included a cast of TV Land favorites and was lead by David Hasselhoff and Marilou Henner.

The CAPA Summer Movie Series, the longest-running classic film series in America, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2010 with an impressive assembly of classics, cult favorites, and much beloved films. The 2010 series, made possible through the generous support of PNC, will run June 4 - July 25 at the historic Ohio Theatre (39 E. State St.).

Celebrities from television, film and music all came out tonight for the unforgettable taping of the eighth annual 'TV Land Awards' premiering on Sunday, April 25 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Shirley Jones, star of theatre and film, will make here UK premiere when she brings her one woman show, 'Shirley Jones in Concert,' to the West End's Arts Theatre, www.whatsonstage.com is reporting. The concert will run February 22nd through April 3rd.

The New York Philharmonic will present SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert on March 15 and Tuesday, March 16, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. This celebration of the 80th birthday of the great Broadway and film composer/lyricist will include his most enduring orchestral music and songs - performed, in some cases, by the stars of the original Broadway cast productions - in addition to rarely-heard material. Joining the celebration will be (in alphabetical order) Michael Cerveris, Victoria Clark, Jason Danieley, Nathan Gunn, George Hearn, Patti LuPone, Marin Mazzie, Audra McDonald, Donna Murphy, Mandy Patinkin, Bernadette Peters, and others to be announced, including surprise guests.
