"For The Record: Tarantino," the new CD produced by Ad Astra Live, features a dynamic cast that breathes new life into director Quentin Tarantino's films with fresh adaptations from the music featured in the director's iconic body of work. The series highlights stars from stage, record and screen as well as new, rising performers embodying iconic movie characters and giving them new voices.

Kate Pazakis and co-host Shane Scheel hosted Rockwell Table and Stage's monthly Broadway Barre show on Monday night, October 22nd. Performers included Euan Morton (Taboo), Our Lady J, Todd Buonopane (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Audra Mae, and Sheila Karls, along with guest performances by The Book of Mormon 1st National Tour cast. Broadway Barre, a monthly event hosted by Kate Pazakis (South Pacific, South Park), happened last night, October 22. This month's special guests were Euan Morton (Taboo), Audra Mae (Recording Artist), Jimmy Ray Bennet (Nuclear Family), Todd Buonopane (30 Rock, Grease), and from the Book of Mormon National Tour: Michael Buchanan (The Addams Family, Cry Baby), Marisha Wallace (Rent, Sistas!), JR Bruno (West Side Story), Daniel Le Claire (Hairspray), and Samantha Marie Ware (The Lion King, Rent). This latest installment of the "For The Record" series will explore the themes Scorsese typically underlines in his work such as Italian American identity, Roman Catholic concepts of guilt and redemption, machismo, and modern crime, using signature songs and iconic scenes from the movies of the acclaimed director. This live, music concert will feature Scorsese's GoodFellas, The Departed, Gangs Of New York, The Aviator, Casino and many more.

With the newly remodeled live music space nearing completion and innovative menus still being unveiled, Rockwell: Table & Stage continues their exciting summer long "Soft Opening" by presenting a reconditioned version of For The Record: John Hughes. Joining the creative team are Barrett Foa (NCIS: Los Angeles, Broadway's Avenue Q) and Chad Hodge (The Playboy Club) who have contributed a reinvented script that focuses the show around John Hughes seminal coming of age teen flicks. This fresh look at the work of the famed-director will focus on signature songs and moments from John Hughes' classics The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, Sixteen Candles, Weird Science, Ferris Bueller's Day Off with additional songs included from Uncle Buck, The Great Outdoors, She's Having A Baby andNational Lampoon's Vacation.

Rockwell: Table & Stage continues their "BROADWAY BARRE" monthly event where LA's vibrant musical theater community comes together to enjoy each other's company as well as perform familiar showtunes. Guided by the skilled hands of musicdirector, Christopher Lloyd Bratten, and hosted by Broadway's talented and funny Kate Pazakis this night is sure to be a fun and entertaining evening for every musical theater lover in LA. For the month of August, the event will include special guest co-host Barrett Foa (Broadway's Avenue Q and CBS's "NCIS:LA"). The evening is produced by Rockwell: Table & Stage Artistic Director Shane Scheel and Program Manager Ben Caron.
