FOR THE RECORD: John Hughes, a concert celebrating the soundtrack that defined a generation, made its New York City debut at City Winery last night, June 27th. As previously reported, FOR THE RECORD: John Hughes celebrates the soundtracks that defined a generation makes its New York City debut at City Winery on June 27th at 8PM. Due to popular demand, a second performance has been added at 10:30pm to accommodate overwelming ticket sales.

Acclaimed filmmaker Baz Luhrmann stopped by Show at Barre's production of FOR THE RECORD: Baz Luhrmann to catch a performance of the sold out critically acclaimed concert that celebrates his Red Curtain Trilogy (Moulin Rouge, Romeo and Juliet, Strictly Ballroom). Following the performance, Mr. Luhrmann took the microphone and congratulated the cast. 'Bravo! Absolutely bravo! I had an out of body experience tonight.'
