Upright Cabaret producers Chris Isaacson and Shane Sheel will present a trio of shows entitled Upright Cabaret's Wicked Summer Nights: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road at the Ford Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, beginning in June. The shows will star pivotal performers and figures that have created and shaped Wicked, the powerhouse Broadway musical which tells the story of the two witches of Oz long before Dorothy showed up. All three shows will be directed by Upright Cabaret Artistic Director Billy Porter.

Upright Cabaret (www.uprightcabaret.com), L.A.'s premier theatrical showcase featuring an eclectic mix of artists from stage, screen and recording, will present three amazing (and dare we say, Popular!) evenings as they present - Upright Cabaret's 'Wicked' Summer Nights: Beyond the Yellow Brick Road at the Ford Amphitheatre, 2580 Cahuenga Blvd.

The Los Angeles based Lambert found a creative 'home' at West Hollywood's Upright Cabaret at Mark's Restaurant. The AMERICAN IDOL standout spent many an evening crooning songs in that expressive voice of his on the Upright Cabaret stage, and a few special performances were captured on film. In this recording Adam Lambert performs a thrilling and emotional version of Seal's 'Kiss From A Rose'.
