Commonwealth Shakespeare Company to Present Three FAIR VERONA FESTIVALS This Month

Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, in collaboration with the Boys & Girls Clubs, will present three Fair Verona Festivals, free open-air, family-friendly community arts days, on July 10, 11 and 17.  Each festival will feature workshops and performances by local artists in dance, music, visual artists plus a performance of CSC2's Romeo & Juliet, which recently performed for a week at Boston's Historic Strand Theater.

Elm Shakespeare Company Names New Producing Director

The Elm Shakespeare Company, a professional theatre company serving the greater New Haven community since 1995, has announced the selection of Rebecca Goodheart as its new Producing Director, replacing Founder and Artistic Director James Andreassi, and Managing Director Margaret Andreassi who are stepping down this Fall after 20 years of leadership. The selection was made after a national search and selection process, led by Transition Chair David Newton with Consultant John Conte.

Lincoln Ave. Brooks will be performing with her six piece band including Kevin Disch, piano; Jim Cox, bass; Eric Monzka, drums and Doug Schuler on trumpet leading the horn section.
