Rosalind Productions Inc.'s Off-Broadway premiere of Jennifer Maisel's The Last Seder is set to open tonight, Tuesday December 4th (7pm). This Off-Broadway limited engagement at Theater Three (311 West 43rd Street) began December 1st and has been extended to January 13th. The show runs 100 minutes without an intermission.

Currently playing at London's Cambridge Theatre, the Royal Shakespeare Company production of Matilda the Musical is Broadway-bound in 2013. MATILDA THE MUSICAL begins performances on March 4 and opens on April 11 2013 at the Shubert Theatre (235 West 44th Street). New York's Fiasco Theater's production of William Shakespeare's epic romance debuts on the West Coast at The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage at the Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center on Thursday, December 13th, 2012. Cymbeline runs through December 23rd.

TheatreSquared will open Tenneessee Williams' only comedy, set on Christmas Eve and rarely seen since its 1961 premiere, this week in a new production directed by Broadway veteran Sean Patrick Reilly. After a disastrous wedding night, George deposits Isabel at the home of his old army buddy, Ralph-whose own wife has just walked out-and promptly disappears. The unexpectedly warmhearted and poignant drama that follows is vintage Williams, with all the hallmarks that have defined him as one of America's greatest playwrights.

Dixon Place presents the music of GREENCARD WEDDING, featuring special guest David Anzuelo and la Lucha Arts Group production of PORNING THE PLANET The De-Sensitization of a Nation, A Works in Progress Solo Showing, written/performed by Raquel Almazan and directed by Penny Arcade on Saturday, December 8th at 7:30 PM. The puritanical killjoy of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night finally has his say in I, Malvolio, a one-man deconstruction of one of classic literature's most misunderstood characters. By British scribe Tim Crouch, I, Malvolio, presented by The New Victory Theater, is a hilarious, charged and often unsettling rant from a complex man full of pride, passion, rage and humiliation. I, Malvolio will run at The Duke on 42nd Street, 229 West 42nd Street, from January 11 through January 20, 2013.

Irish Repertory Theatre in association with Fallen Angel Theatre Company, Inc. present the U.S. premiere of AIRSWIMMING by Charlotte Jones, the award-winning author of HUMBLE BOY, with previews set to begin January 9, prior to an official press opening January 13, in Irish Repertory Theatre Company's W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre (132 West 22nd Street). John Keating directs.

The Carol Tambor Theatrical Foundation has announced the NY premiere of the critically-acclaimed production of MIDSUMMER [A PLAY WITH SONGS], written and directed by David Greig, with songs by Gordon McIntyre, from the Traverse Theatre in Scotland. MIDSUMMER comes to NY as the 2012 co-winner of the Best of Edinburgh Award given annually by the Carol Tambor Theatrical Foundation.

Joining Helen Mirren as The Queen in the world premiere of Peter Morgan's The Audience are Michael Elwyn as Anthony Eden, Nathaniel Parker as Gordon Brown and Rufus Wright as David Cameron, alongside the previously announced Haydn Gwynne as Margaret Thatcher, Robert Hardy as Winston Churchill and Paul Ritter as John Major. Final casting will be announced shortly.

Christmas is right around the corner, and so is Shakespeare & Company's annual production of David Sedaris' irreverent Christmas memoir, The Santaland Diaries. Once again directed by Artistic Director Tony Simotes, this will be the third and final year Shakespeare & Company calls on an actor to don the regulation pointy-toed socks. This year, Shakespeare & Company welcomes longtime Company member David Joseph Hansen to play Sedaris' less-than-merry autobiographical self, Crumpet the Elf.
