A month into their UK tour, Birdsong, produced by the Original Theatre Company and Birdsong Productions, is playing at the Birmingham Rep this week. This show is one of many on the road this year that marks the centenary of World War I and is based on the world famous novel by Sebastian Faulks.

Peter Duncan, George Banks and Carolin Stoltz will be heading the cast of the 2014 national tour of Rachel Wagstaff's stage play BIRDSONG, adapted from the novel by Sebastian Faulks, which will begin touring on 12 February in Eastbourne, with a national press night on Tuesday 18 March at Birmingham Rep.

The National Portrait Gallery is to stage the first national exhibition of the First World War centenary commemorations in February 2014. In 2014, the year that will mark 100 years since the outbreak of the First World War, Rachel Wagstaff's stage adaptation of BIRDSONG, from the novel by Sebastian Faulks, will tour the UK. This follows a hugely successful and critically acclaimed tour earlier this year which was seen by over 75,000 people. The 2014 tour will begin on 12 February at Devonshire Park in Eastbourne. There will be a national press night on Tuesday 18 March at Birmingham Rep.
