Digital Theatre today released Abi Morgan's critically acclaimed LOVESONG to watch online or download to the desktop. The show is produced by Frantic Assembly and Drum Theatre Plymouth in association with Chichester Festival Theatre.

Originally staged at The Drum Theatre Plymouth in September 2011 before embarking on a national tour, LOVESONG is directed and choreographed by Scott Graham and Steven Hogget, with designs by Merle Hensel, lighting by Andy Purves, sound design by Carolyn Downing and video design by Ian William Galloway and Adam Young. The cast is Edward Bennet (William), Sam Cox (Billy), Sian Phillips (Maggie) and Leanne Rowe (Margaret).

LOVESONG intertwines a couple in their twenties with the same man and woman a lifetime later. Their past and present selves collide in this haunting and beautiful tale of togetherness. All relationships have their ups and downs; the optimism of youth becomes the wisdom of experience. Love is a leap of faith.

Acclaimed writer Abi Morgan, whose film and television credits include the award-winning Iron Lady starring Meryl Streep, Shame starring Michael Fassbender, the television adaptation of Sebastian Faulks' novel Birdsong, The Hour and Sex Traffic, is reunited with the award-winning company Frantic Assembly with whom she worked on the highly praised Tiny Dynamite.

Robert Delamere and Tom Shaw launched Digital Theatre in 2009 and have recently celebrated the company's second birthday. In that time the site has had visits from over 150 countries worldwide. Digital Theatre produces theatre productions filmed in front of live audiences and are available to rent and stream online or purchase and download.

Lovesong is available at www.digitaltheatre.com. Education resources including exclusive interviews with cast and crew will also be made available at www.digitaltheatreplus.com.
