The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) announced today that it would extend GATZ, the critically acclaimed theatrical adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, by two weeks due to extraordinary demand.

Syfy's July 5 Summer Premiere Week sizzled as its three powerhouse scripted series -- Warehouse 13, Eureka and Haven -- cumed 7.619 million unique viewers, including 3.147 million unique Adults 18-49 and 3.907 million unique Adults 25-54.

Marking the first anniversary of its successful brand evolution (July 7, 2009), Syfy kicks off Summer Premiere Week on Tuesday, July 6, at 9PM (ET/PT) with the second season return of Warehouse 13, its most successful series ever. The Boston Theater Critics Association has announced its nominees for this year's Elliot Norton Awards, which recognize excellence in Greater Boston theater. The awards will be given at the 28th annual ceremony, to be held at 7 p.m.

Syfy's all-new one-hour drama series Haven, starring Emily Rose (Jericho, Brothers and Sisters), commenced production on April 20 in Halifax, Nova Scotia and its surrounding area. Based on the novella The Colorado Kid from author renowned Stephen King, the series follows the shrewd and confident FBI agent Audrey Parker (Rose) with a lost past who arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine on a routine case. Before long, her natural curiosity lands her in the epicenter of activity in this curious enclave, which turns out to be a longtime refuge for people that are affected by a range of supernatural afflictions.

Sources confirm that The Wooster Group is excited to guest curate Performance Space 122's longest-running multi-disciplinary mini-festival and that this spring's Avant-Garde-Arama! will feature artists who the Group calls upon, in their own words, 'sometimes late at night, sometimes when we haven't seen them in a while, sometimes lonely, sometimes drunk, and sometimes we when we've just got nothing better to do.'
