THE BOOK OF MORMON Single Tickets Go on Sale Today in Kitchener

The producers of The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards , including Best Musical, and Broadway Across Canada announced that single tickets will go on sale today, September 13 at 10:00am. An exclusive pre-sale for American Express Card-members will begin at 10 AM on September 8 thru September 10.

THE BOOK OF MORMON Announces Lottery Policy for Toronto Run

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards , including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins September 16 at the Princess of Wales Theatre and plays a limited 11 week engagement through November 30 in Toronto, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making 24 tickets available at $25 apiece, cash only.

Cameron Macintosh and Chichester Festival Theatre's production of Barnum debuted at the Curve Theatre, Leicester last night before embarking on a National Tour. The show was seen by nearly 70,000 people during its run in Chichester last year and was critically acclaimed by many throughout its time there. Way prior to this, the production opened on Broadway back in 1980 where it picked up three Tony Awards and a Drama Desk Award. Following this, Barnum opened in the West End in 1981 starring Michael Crawford; a role which he won an Olivier for.

HE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins Tuesday, September 23 at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh, PA and plays a limited two week engagement through Sunday, October 5, 2014. In Pittsburgh, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the Box Office at Theater Square, 655 Penn Avenue, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 per ticket.

Matthew James Thomas to Continue as Lead for PIPPIN's LA and San Francisco Premiere; Kyle Selig on Vocal Rest

Matthew James Thomas, who originated the role of Pippin in the current 2013 Tony Award winning revival, will perform the title role when the show launches its tour in Denver, and he will also play the role in the entire run in San Francisco at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre (September 23 through October 19, 2014) and in Los Angeles at Hollywood Pantages (October 21 through November 9, 2014). Kyle Selig will be taking a medical leave of absence for vocal rest from the Pippin tour. It remains unknown whether Thomas will continue throughout the rest of the tour.

Five theater artists will be honored by the Henry Hewes Design Awards Committee during the presentation of its 2014 Awards in a luncheon ceremony scheduled for October 6. Bob Crowley (The Glass Menagerie), Linda Cho (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder), Justin Townsend (Mr. Burns, a Post-Electric Play) and G. Lucas Crane and Keith Skretch (This Was the End) will be honored with 2014 Henry Hewes Design Awards. Three of the five are receiving his or her first Henry Hewes Design Award. Bob Crowley was previously honored in 2007 for his work with Scott Pask on The Coast of Utopia. For the 2014 honors, 91 theater artists were nominated for outstanding artistry in 59 productions presented during the 2013-2014 New York theater season.
