Miracle on 34th Street will be presented at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Tuesday, December 13 at 7:30 pm by the Barter Theatre.

America's favorite holiday tradition will return once more to dazzle and enchant millions nationwide with its signature magic. On Thursday, November 24, 2011 at 9:00 AM, the 85th Anniversary Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade® will take to the streets of New York City with a cornucopia of whimsical treats for the whole family. From new giant character helium balloons to out-of-this world floats, the magic begins at the sound of Let's Have A Parade! More than 8,000 participants including a gaggle of clowns, exciting performance groups, pulse-pounding marching bands, celebrities and the one-and-only Santa Claus will kick-off the holidays with the 85th march of unrivaled wonder.

Beginning this Monday, November 28th, from 6pm to 9pm, Paper Mill Playhouse will host the 2011 Holiday Shopping Bazaar in our lobby and art gallery.

Today, November 24, New York celebrates Thanksgiving with the 85th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The famed festival, which began in 1924, is the second-oldest Thanksgiving parade in the United States along with America's Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit. Ready for it 85th Anniversary edition, the Parade of wonder will feature 15 giant character balloons; 44 novelty/ornament balloons, balloonicles and balloonheads; 27 floats; 1,600 cheerleaders, dancers and performance group members; 800 clowns; 11 marching bands; a host of celebrity performers, and the one-and-only Santa Claus. The fun begins at 9am and lasts the morning through 12:00pm. As usual, Broadway will be well represented with performances from Anything Goes, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Priscilla How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Sister Act, and Newsies, in addition to appearances by Godspell's Hunter Parrish, Relatively Speaking's Steve Guttenberg and Laura Bell Bundy!

From the writers of Married Alive! and A Dog's Life comes the Chicago area premiere of Another Night Before Christmas, November 17 through December 18, 2011 at Theatre at the Center,1040 Ridge Road, Munster, IN. On November 17, Macy's Herald Square kicked-off the season with a heavenly evening of holiday magic at the annual Christmas window unveiling on Broadway Boulevard. The event featured an appearance by special guest, Whoopi Goldberg, along with the divine cast members of the hit Broadway musical, Sister Act, including Tony Award nominee, Patina Miller. Santa Claus also made an appearance and led the countdown to flip the switch and unveil the 2011 Christmas Windows, this year titled 'Make-A-Wish.'
