Jermyn Street Theatre today announces its first full season under Anthony Biggs, with a series of challenging, exciting and contrasting productions set to ignite this studio theatre in the heart of the West End. Ranging from a season of Stephen Berkoff short works to be played in repertory, to a revival of Wicker Man author David Pinner's 1974 comedy The Potsdam Quartet, to a new fun filled family musical Little Beasts (What Happens To Naughty Children) based on the 18th Century cautionary children's tale What Happens To Naughty Children, the season continues and extends the theatre's dedication to rediscovery but now places its work firmly within a contemporary context

Three world premieres, seven productions in all, are scheduled for the 10th season at the Douglas. The works range from a new rock musical to a sweeping new drama to a masterful interpretation of the works of Beckett, plus the bonus option of The Second City's one-of-a-kind Christmas show. In addition, three Los Angeles solo artists will be presented in the popular DouglasPlus program, and will represent CTG in the Radar L.A. festival.

Theater Wit presents a special encore presentation this summer of its critically acclaimed 2007 smash hit Thom Pain (based on nothing) by Will Eno.

The Classical Theatre of Harlem (CTH) (Producing Artistic Director, Ty Jones), presents the Shakespeare classic A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Artistic Associate Justin Emeka this summer in Harlem's Richard Rodgers Amphitheater in Marcus Garvey Park. Performances of the free play, which runs July 13-30 (on Tuesdays through Sunday) at 7:30 pm, are made possible by the Ford Foundation.

Tickets to the limited season repertoire of Harold Pinter's NO MAN'S LAND and Samuel Beckett's WAITING FOR GODOT, starring Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Billy Crudupand Shuler Hensley directed by Sean Mathias go on sale beginning Monday, July 15 through Sunday, July 21 through Audience Rewards. However, a new feature film on Kickstarter from 'You (Plural)' is taking these beloved novels, and adapting them to become more relatable in today's modern world.

Cuban National Office of Scenic Arts, The University of Alabama and Company HavanaBama invite you to the World Premiere of ALCESTIS ASCENDING, a new play with music based on Euripides' classic drama. Written and directed by Seth Panitch, this groundbreaking collaboration combines actors and dancers from the Cuban National Office of Scenic Arts (several of whom are TV stars in Cuba) as well as actors from the University of Alabama. Performances of this Off-Broadway limited engagement run July 9 - 21 at the Harold Clurman Theatre at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd).

Horse Trade Theater Group will present Less Than Rent Theatre's World Premiere of Ben Diserens' BECKETT IN BENGHAZI, July 25-August 10 at UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place). The production will be directed by James Presson (FringeNYC Award Winner for Directing in 2010) and feature Julie Voshell (Movin' Out; Pop), Becca Ballenger (American Stare), Adam Weppler (Waiting for Lefty with Roundabout; Puppet Hamlet), Rachel B. Joyce (Muskego Lake, Desire! A Varsouviana), Brendan McDonough (Three Sisters with The Assembly), and Patrick Dooley (Words, Razors, and the Wounded Heart). Designs will feature sets by Dan Geggatt (Asuncion; Billy Witch), costumes by Jenni Meador, sound by Emily Auciello (The Dance and the Railroad at Signature Center), choreography by Jennifer Delac, and fight design by Cory Asinofsky (Richard 3).

Michael Gambon and Peter Egan will star at the Edinburgh International Festival in Gate Theatre Dublin productions of Beckett this summer. Beckett at the Festival is a season of theatre performances and film showings at the 2013 Edinburgh International Festival 2013 focussing on the work of Samuel Beckett.

Betrayal is enjoying a revival on the East Coast and Off Broadway West Theatre Company is delighted to present the revival of this great classic here on the West Coast, as our first full production after a year's hiatus of successful staged readings. Marriage infidelity has never been as prevalent as it is in today's society, and is a subject that always bears inspection.

TampaWorks is an evening of short plays set in Tampa Bay area locations. This year's TampaWorks is totally a Stageworks production. Playwrights from all over central Florida submitted scripts. The submissions were evaluated by a panel of judges, who chose eight short plays for the production. The production is being sponsored in part by Tucker/Hall, The Tampa Chamber Of Commerce and The Tampa Downtown Partnership. The Brick Theater will play host to sound scape, A Festival of Theatrical Sound Design, tonight, June 7-29, 2013.

A Noise Within (ANW), the acclaimed classical repertory theatre company, continues this season's 'Words Within' Wednesday night play reading series with four free, one-night-only readings this summer at its Pasadena theatre: THE HEIRESS by RUTH AND Augustus Goetz, based on the 1880 Henry James novel Washington Square, tonight June 5, 2013, 7 pm; THE GHOST SONATA by August Strindberg, considered one of the world's greatest modern playwrights, on June 19, 7pm; GALILEO, a timeless classic by BERTOLD BRECHT on July 24, 7 pm; and LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT by EUGENE O'NEILL on August 14, 7 pm. The readings feature A Noise Within resident artists as well as artists from the theatre company's current repertory productions.

Once again exhibiting his fierce and undying dedication and devotion to theatre and the performing arts, as well as the creators responsible for it, stage and screen superstar Daniel Radcliffe has revealed he intends to get a new tattoo dedicated to one of his favorite playwrights, Samuel Beckett.

Performances begin in just five weeks for the third annual Next Up, continuing Steppenwolf Theatre Company's commitment to Chicago's next generation of theater artists. Next Up features three productions presented in rotating repertory, in collaboration with Northwestern University's MFA programs in Direction and Design. Next Up 2013 showcases the work of graduates of those programs with casts of professional Chicago actors-including nine alumni of the School at Steppenwolf: Fat Pig by Neil LaBute, directed by David Prete; The Drunken City by Adam Bock, directed by Johnny Michael DiResta; and The Internationalist by Anne Washburn, directed by Erin Murray. Theatre for a New Audience has been partnering for 15 years with P.S. 235 in Canarsie, Brooklyn, with an annual 13-week program that combines the experience of seeing a great Shakespearean play with in-depth classroom work. P.S. 235 is a Pre-K to Grade 8 school which attracts gifted and talented students, largely of Caribbean descent, from all over Brooklyn.
