Producers of the new Broadway play Significant Other have announced that on Wednesday, February 1st, from 10am-8pm customers will be able to celebrate their Valentine with a one-day-only box office offer of two tickets for $50 for select performances in February.

On a rainy January 19, at 5:30 p.m. on the steps in front of Actors Theatre of Louisville, members of the Louisville theatre community took part in launching a nation-wide initiative entitled The Ghost Light Project. Besides Actors Theatre, there were representatives from other local companies such as Kentucky Shakespeare, Looking for Lilith, The Liminal Playhouse, Theatre [502], the University of Louisville's African American Theatre Program, among others.

Just last night, at sunset the eve of the Inauguration, more than 500 theaters, ensembles and companies, high school and university theater programs gathered across the country to light a light and make a pledge to stand for and protect the values of inclusion, participation, and compassion for everyone - regardless of race, class, religion, country of origin, immigration status, (dis)ability, gender identity, or sexual orientation.

Members of the cast and creative team of NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 and author Steven Suskin celebrated the release of the book The Great Comet: The Journey of a New Musical to Broadway at Barnes & Noble and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the event!

The Desert Rose Playhouse is participating in 'The Ghostlight Project', on January 19, 2017. In each time zone across the country, members of the theater community from Broadway to regional theaters to high schools and colleges and community theaters will come together to launch THE GHOSTLIGHT PROJECT. THE GHOSTLIGHT PROJECT (previously announced as 'The Sanctuary Project') will bring the theatre community together from coast to coast on January 19, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in each time zone to light a light and make a pledge. Inspired by the theatrical tradition of keeping a 'ghost light' on in a darkened theater, we create light for the challenging times ahead.

Producers of the Broadway bound production of Significant Other have just announced that the full creative team from the sold out run at the Roundabout Theater Company will be joining playwright, Joshua Harmon (Bad Jews) and director, Trip Cullman on the Great White Way next month.
