Neil Morrissey and Samantha Barks will play the roles of Fagin and Nancy from Tuesday 13 March - Sunday 1 April. Samantha Barks will head straight from OLIVER! to start filming the forthcoming Les Miserables film, which has already begun production with scenes being shot in both England and France.

The highly-anticipated film adaptation of Les Miserables will open in movie theatre in December, and according to Daily Mail, the movie will feature brand-new music by the original song writing team. Baz Bamigboye reports that Claude-Michel Schonberg, Alain Boublil and Herbert Kretzmer wrote a song called 'Suddenly' for the movie.

At last night's Academy Award's Red Carpet event, comedian Sacha Baron Cohen arrived in the guise of the lead character of his upcoming film 'The Dictator'. Earlier in the week, an Oscar representative warned the comedian that he would be banned from attending the event if he showed up dressed as the fictional foreign dictator.

Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen phoned in to the TODAY show this morning, disguised as Admiral General Aladeen, the character of his upcoming film, 'The Dictator', and responded to the Academy Awards' threat to keep him from attending Sunday night's event if he showed up on the red carpet in character.

According to the NY Post, representatives from the Academy Awards have warned comedian Sacha Baron Cohen that if he shows up for this Sunday's Oscars dressed as General Aladeen, the character from his upcoming comedy THE DICTATOR, he will be banned from the show.
