Classic Stage Company presents the New York premiere of Sarah Ruhl's ORLANDO, adapted from the work of Virgina Woolf and directed by Rebecca Taichman. Performances begin September 8, 2010.

Ars Nova (Jason Eagan, Artistic Director; Jeremy Blocker, Managing Director) will present the world premiere of NOW CIRCA THEN - an offbeat, comic tale of new beginnings that spans a century, written by Carly Mensch (LEN, ASLEEP IN VINYL; Showtime's 'Weeds') and directed by Ars Nova Artistic Director Jason Eagan.

The Plum Theatre Company presents David Caudle's SOUTH BEACH RAPTURE as part of the 14th Annual New York International Fringe Festival with remaining performances set for Saturday, August 21 at 11:00pm; Sunday, August 22 at 4:15pm; Monday, August 23 at 3:45pm and Wednesday, August 25 at 7:45pm at Dixon Place (161A Chrystie Street). Michelle Bossy, Associate Artistic Director of Primary Stages, is set to direct. Running time is approximately 90 minutes. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door. Jenen, will present two-time Academy Award-winner Dianne Wiest in THE FOREST, by Alexander Ostrovosky, translated by Kathleen Tolan, and directed by Brian Kulick, beginning performances Friday, April 23 at CSC (136 East 13th Street) with an official press opening Thursday, May 6 at 7pm.

Lortel Statues for 14 categories and 2 special awards were handed out by celebrity presenters at the 2010 Lucille Lortel Awards at a live awards ceremony tonight at Terminal 5. Hosted by the Off-Broadway League, the live show was co-hosted by Bryan Batt and Bebe Neuwirth and featured performances by Alan Menken, STOMP, Seth Rudetsky, Edward Watts of The Fanasticks and LaChanze.
