I am delighted to announce additional casting for next season's production of Therese Raquin, directed by Evan Cabnet. Academy Award®, Golden Globe® and Olivier nominee Keira Knightley (Therese) will be joined by Gabriel Ebert (Camille), Judith Light (Madame Raquin), and Matt Ryan (Laurent).

Shrunken Shakespeare Company presented the world premiere reading of Chukwudi Iwuji's masterpiece screenplay IRA on June 8th, 2015. The reading was the centerpiece of the SSC 2015 Spring Gala and was directed by Danya Taymor. The Creative Producer was Adam Shulman (Dukes of Hazard: The Beginning, Song One starring Anne Hathaway), host of SSC's Annual Benefit Gala and Staged Reading of at W83 (150 West 83rd Street, between Amsterdam and Columbus). Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) has just announced that  Keira Knightley (Therese) will be joined by Gabriel Ebert (Camille), Matt Ryan (Laurent) and Judith Light (Madame Raquin) in a striking new adaptation of Therese Raquin by Helen Edmundson, based upon the novel by Emile Zola, directed by Evan Cabnet.

When it comes to Irish theatre and the Tony Awards, the distance is never great.

?THE AUDIENCE's Richard McCabe just accepted the 2015 Tony Award for Featured Actor in a Play for his role as Prime Minister Harold Wilson. He re-joined THE AUDIENCE after the London production for which he won an Olivier Award for best supporting actor. Richard McCabe, who took home the 2015 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for his role as Prime Minister Harold Wilson in THE AUDIENCE tonight, revealed he could have ended up in another Broadway show this year.

Helen Mirren has won the 2015 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Play for her role as Queen Elizabeth II in THE AUDIENCE.

Richard McCabe has won the 2015 Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for his role as Prime Minister Harold Wilson in THE AUDIENCE. The role marks his Broadway debut. 

Bob Crowley and 59 Productions have won the 2015 Tony Award for Best Scenic Design of a Musical for An American in Paris.

Simon Bird will play Zack, Marek Larwood will play Mr Popov (etc) and Ciaran Owens will play Ivan in the world premiere of The Crocodile at Manchester International Festival. 

Park Avenue Armory today announced the appointment of Pierre Audi as Artistic Director. A critically acclaimed director and artistic director, Audi will continue to lead the Dutch National Opera, a role he has held since 1988 while also serving as Artistic Director of the Holland Festival in Amsterdam from 2004 until 2014. He previously was the founding Artistic Director of the pioneering Almeida Theatre in London. Audi will join Park Avenue Armory in October 2015 to begin planning its 2017 season.

The Telegraph writes that DOWNTON ABBEY's Lady Mary, Michelle Dockery, will return to the stage in LES LIAISONS DANGEREUSES at the Donmar Warehouse from December 11 to February 13, 2016.

Shrunken Shakespeare Company (Yvonne Cone and Jennifer Martina, Co-Producing Artistic Directors) announced today that Madeline Brewer has joined the cast as Meg, in the world premiere reading of Chukwudi Iwuji's masterpiece screenplay Ira - on June 8th, 2015. Brewer joins new cast member Eli Gelb (The Squid and the Whale, Holy Rollers).
