The New Victoria Theatre, Woking and First Family Entertainment are delighted to announce Katie Price and Anita Dobson will be sharing the role of the Wicked Fairy in this year's spectacular panto adventure Sleeping Beauty.

Beginning tonight, September 15, West End alumna RACHEL TUCKER joins the Broadway company of WICKED in the role of 'Elphaba'. After nearly three years and over 1,000 performances, Rachel holds the record for most consecutive performances as Elphaba in London's West End production. She made her Broadway debut last season as Meg Dawson in Sting's THE LAST SHIP.

With Labor Day in the rearview mirror, students all across the county are now diligently back to work on yet another school year. The Folger Shakespeare Library continues its collaboration with Picturehouse Entertainment to bring the Royal Shakespeare Company from Shakespeare's hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon to Washington, D.C. with a screening of THE MERCHANT OF VENICE tonight, September 12th at 7:00pm.

 Kicking off the 2015-16 season and the company's ninth season is the cult-classic novel made into a cult-classic film made into a cult-classic musical theater piece as American Repertory Theater of WNY presents CARRIE, THE MUSICAL. From the mind of Stephen King to the film directorial eyes of Brian DePalma to the musical creativity of Michael Gore, this is an ugly ducking turn prom queen who sees this dream turn into a 'night we'll never forget' story. 

Casting has been announced for the St. Louis engagement of the First National Tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL. Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, MATILDA THE MUSICAL will play the Fabulous Fox Theatre October 21 - November 1.

Director Luke Sheppard helms Harvey Fierstein's CASA VALENTINA, with previews from tonight 10 September, an opening slated for 16 September and a run through 10 October 2015 at Southwark Playhouse.

Clint Dyer and Carolina Main have been named as the cast of Paul Murphy's VALHALLA - the joint winner of Theatre503's inaugural international Playwriting Award. This tense psychological thriller is set in a world in which men have become gods, but gods have become depraved.

Long before the devil wore Prada -- 20 years ago, in fact -- the story of the irrepressible Diana Vreeland first commanded the stage of the Globe in a world premiere in 1995. Oscar and Tony Award winner Mercedes Ruehl (The Fisher King, Lost in Yonkers) now brings "The Empress of Fashion" back in FULL GALLOP. Written by Mark Hampton and Mary Louise Wilson and directed by Andrew Russell, FULL GALLOP will run September 26 through October 25, 2015, with opening night on Thursday, October 1 at 8:00 p.m., in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Arthur Miller's THE CRUCIBLE will return to Broadway at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48th Street) this spring. Bill Camp (as Reverend John Hale), Jim Norton (as Giles Corey), Tavi Gevinson (as Mary Warren), and Jason Butler Harner (as Reverend Samuel Parris) are among those who will join previously announced stars Ben Whishaw (as John Proctor), Sophie Okonedo (as Elizabeth Proctor), Saoirse Ronan (as Abigail Williams), and Ciaran Hinds (as Deputy-Governor Danforth).

The two most successful productions in the last twelve months from Hampstead Downstairs are transferring to Trafalgar Studios for a back-to-back run. Following on from its Olivier Award nomination in April, James Fritz's debut play FOUR MINUTES TWELVE SECONDS will open the season on Thursday, 12 November, 7.45 p.m., followed by Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's sell-out THE WASP, starting on Friday, 11th December, 7.45 p.m.

Beginning September 23, the Royal Shakespeare Company's acclaimed production of Shakespeare's Othello will play in select movie houses across North America. The production, which opened to rave reviews at the RSC's home in Stratford-upon-Avon, was filmed for 'Live from Stratford-upon-Avon,' the RSC program that screens the world's greatest classical theatre company from Shakespeare's home town around the world through a continued partnership with Picturehouse Entertainment. Beginning September 8, the Tony Award-winning Broadway hit MATILDA THE MUSICAL will welcome Natalie Venetia Belcon as Mrs. Phelps, Allison Case as Miss Honey, Rick Holmes as Mr. Wormwood, and Amy Spanger as Mrs. Wormwood. They join a principal cast that features Christopher Sieber as Miss Trunchbull, and the four girls sharing the title role: Mattea Conforti, Rileigh McDonald, Mimi Ryder, and Alexandra Vlachos.

Adams,  demonstrates 'Thinking Local' in every aspect of bringing his two one-act plays to life on the Ware Center stage tonight, September 4 at 7:30 pm in downtown Lancaster. 'Two to Move You' is two one act plays including 'Bound' which reveals how three neighbors discover the common experiences that have unexpectedly bound them, and followed by 'I'm Still Here' a one-woman drama featuring actor, Anne Meeder, telling the story of Julie Jennings' personal grit and survival after several life setbacks.  The Ware Center is located at 42 N.
