The Theatre School at DePaul University (John Culbert, Dean) is pleased to present The 2015 Awards for Excellence in the Arts gala on Monday, November 9, 2015, in the Atlantic Ballroom of the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel. The Radisson Blu is located at 221 North Columbus Drive. The event will begin with a 6 PM cocktail reception, followed by dinner and program at 7 PM, and will conclude with a dessert reception.

59E59 Theaters (Elysabeth Kleinhans, Artistic Director; Peter Tear, Executive Producer; Brian Beirne, Managing Director) is thrilled to welcome Adjusted Realists with the US premiere of GLUTEN! written by Stephen Kaliski and directed by Mr. Kaliski and Amanda Holston. GLUTEN! begins performances on Thursday, November 19 for a limited engagement through Saturday, December 5. Press opening is Tuesday, November 24 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday at 8:30 PM; Saturday at 2:30 PM & 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Outside Mullingar was nominated for a Tony for Best Play during the 2014 season. Playwright John Patrick Shanley won both the Tony and the Pulitzer Prize for his play Doubt (produced at PTC in 2007) and won an Academy Award for his screen play for the film Moonstruck.

Christian Camargo, who has played Coriolanus and Hamlet for Theatre for a New Audience, will take on another Shakespearean title role as Pericles in a new production directed by Trevor Nunn with music written by Irish composer Shaun Davey, the Theatre's Founding Artistic Director Jeffrey Horowitz announced.

The Lyric Hammersmith is pleased to announce that Sir William Atkinson has been appointed Chairman of the theatre's board from 6 November 2015. Sir William, who has been a director on the Lyric's board since March 2010, will be working closely with the Lyric's Artistic Director, Sean Holmes, and newly appointed Executive Director, Sian Alexander. He succeeds Kevin McGrath DL who is stepping down after ten years on the Board with the last four as Chairman, having overseen the completion of the Lyric's £20 million Capital Development Project and creation of the new Reuben Foundation Wing.

Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director) today announced that their Twelfth Season will kick off with a special benefit reading and party on Monday October 26th (7:30pm): George Etherege's The Man Of Mode, or, Sir Fopling Flutter, directed by Jesse Berger, starring Reg Rogers and Veanne Cox and featuring Michael Urie as Sir Fopling, along with Matthew Amendt, Suzanne Bertish, Angel Desai, Ryan Garbayo, Adam Green, Kathryn Meisle, Amelia Pedlow, Everett Quinton, Liv Rooth, Marc Vietor, Spiff Weigand, and more The Man of Mode will feature live music by Scott Killian. 

Meera Syal's much-loved novel bursts onto the stage for the very first time this Autumn. Adapted for the stage by the award-winning playwright, Tanika Gupta, and with specially composed music by Ben and Max Ringham, Anita and Me paints a colourful portrait of village life in 1970's West Midlands during the era of flares, power cuts and glam rock. Directed by Roxana Silbert, the production transfers to Theatre Royal Stratford East from 29 October, after the world premiere at Birmingham REP.

WaterTower Theatre Producing Artistic Director Terry Martin today announced casting and creative team details for the regional premiere of Lord of the Flies, directed by Kelsey Leigh Ervi. The production, based on the William Golding novel and adapted for the stage by Nigel Williams, will run January 22 - February 14, 2016.  Appropriate for its 18th year of existence, The Hartt School's Theatre Division has taken on a bold, boundary-pushing production incorporating talents from across disciplines and throughout the University of Hartford community. Opening November 3rd, The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby is a Tony Award-winning play in two parts, presented over the course of six days, requiring three directors, many guest appearances, countless intricate costumes, and one towering set.

The First National Tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL, presented by Shea's Performing Arts Center and Albert Nocciolino, premieres at Shea's Buffalo Theatre November 3-8.  Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and The Dodgers, the First National Tour of MATILDA THE MUSICAL will play at Shea's Buffalo Theatre, November 3-8.

The Ustinov Studio, Bath is delighted to announce the UK premiere of Georges Feydeau's THE ONE THAT GOT AWAY as part of its autumn 2015 season, translated by Kenneth McLeish and directed by the Ustinov Studio's Artistic Director, Laurence Boswell.

'The Diary of Anne Frank' will be performed at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey' from October 14th to November 21st. This powerful story is directed by Joseph Discher. Broadwayworld.com interviewed Anthony Cochrane who plays Mr. Van Daan in the play.

Sound designer John Leonard, scene designer Anna Louizos, costume designer Joy Emery and theatre safety educator Monona Rossol will be honored with USITT Distinguished Achievement Awards at USITT's 2016 Annual Conference & Stage Expo in Salt Lake City next March.

The Off-Broadway cast recording of the new Bock and Harnick musical, Rothschild & Sons, an intimate reimagining of the Tony nominated musical The Rothschilds, will be recorded and released by JAY Records.  Produced by John Yap, the recording will feature the original cast of The York Theatre Company production who will gather at The Avatar Studios on Monday, October 26, 2015 to lay down the tracks for the recording scheduled for release on JAY Records in early January.  Executive Producers are John Yap and Arnold Mittelman.

Dame Eileen Atkins is to receive The Gielgud Award for Excellence in the Dramatic Arts at the UK Theatre Awards 2015. The ceremony will take place on Sunday 18 October at London's historic Guildhall.  

Broadway Philadelphia presents TIME Magazine's #1 Show of the Year, MATILDA THE MUSICAL, at the Kimmel Center's Academy of Music November 17-29, 2015.

Rehearsals are underway for Tarragon Theatre's world premiere of The Trouble with Mr. Adams by acclaimed actor and playwrightGord Rand. Directed by Lisa Peterson (Shaw Festival's The Philanderer with Rand in the title role), this revealing comic tragedy previews from October 20, opens October 28 and runs to November 29 in Tarragon's Extraspace.

The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) returns to the Barbican in November with Henry V, followed by a major theatrical event in January 2016 to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death - with performances of all four productions of Gregory Doran's history plays in repertoire. 

After an opening run praised by both critics and audiences in the Cleveland area, McCarter Theatre Center will continue the 2015/2016 Theatre Season with the world-premiere co-production of Ken Ludwig's A Comedy of Tenors.
