On Monday, October 27, 2014, New Heritage presents A Season in an Evening: A Night to Remember in celebration of the theater's 50 years. With several weeks until the craziness begins, there is still plenty of time to catch up on what's been going on at Broadway's already occupied theaters . Camp Broadway's Original Summer Program for theater-loving kids, ages 10-17, began earlier this week and continues through today July 18, 2014. The week-long program will immerse campers in an authentic Broadway rehearsal process that culminates in a Family Finale presentation on Friday, July 18. Inspired by Broadway's cherished works and steeped in its grand traditions, Camp Broadway is designed to build confidence, inspire creative expression, and instill well-being in both aspiring artists and future audiences. Broadway veterans will share the stage with celebrated newcomers as Bryan Cranston, Fran Drescher, James Franco, Idina Menzel,Denzel Washington and more than 200 of Broadway and off-Broadway's most talented performers come together for the 28th AnnualEaster Bonnet Competition. Presented by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, this year's Easter Bonnet Competition(#bcefabonnets) will be held Monday, April 21 and Tuesday, April 22.

The 27th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition raised a staggering $4,250,542 - eclipsing the previous high of $3,734,129 set in 2007. The grand total was announced Tuesday after six weeks of intensive fundraising for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS by 47 Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies. Four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein (Kinky Boots), two-time Academy Award winner Tom Hanks (Lucky Guy) and Grammy Award winner Cyndi Lauper (Kinky Boots) were on hand to announce the grand total at this year's Easter Bonnet Competition, which ended in two shows featuring original presentations, songs, dances and 19 intricate, custom-made bonnets. The line-up of presenters, judges, and participants for the 26th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition will include a four-time Tony Award winner, eight Tony Award nominees and more than 200 of Broadway and Off-Broadway's most talented performers. This year's Easter Bonnet Competition presented by and benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, will be held Monday, April 23 and Tuesday, April 24 at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street.

The Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS 25th Annual Easter Bonnet Competition has just wrapped at the Minskoff Theatre! The first acts were presented yesterday, April 25, with the show continuing today, Tuesday, April 26. The proceeds from the event will benefit BC/EFA.
