The Drama League proudly announces complete details for DirectorFest 2010, the 27th annual presentation of one-act plays staged by the Fall Fellows of The Drama League Directors Project (Roger Danforth, Artistic Director; Gabriel Shanks, Executive Director).

Utilizing songs from John Denver, one of America's most cherished songwriters and performers, A MOMENT IN TIME, is about a marine in Afghanistan who, moments before a battle, recalls a safer, happier place. The new musical, written by Stewart F. Lane, got its world premiere at Five Towns College, Dix Hills, New York, on June 25, 2010.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center has announced details of the upcoming 20th Anniversary Season of its National Puppetry Conference, which will take place June 9 through 20, once again under the leadership of Artistic Director Pam Arciero. This year's Conference, drawing participants from around the world, will represent the largest gathering of puppet theater artists in its history.

With a commitment to developing new work and cultivating the next generation of playwrights, Urban Stages (Frances Hill, Founder/Artistic Director, Lauren Schmiedel, Managing Director) is proud to kick-off the season highlighting some of the towns top playwrighting talent including La'Chris Jordan, Robert Karmon, Gino DiIorio, John Walch, Lydia R. Diamond, Lydia Stryk, William Orem, Kit Williamson & Stanton Wood.

The concert begins at 6 p.m.
