Operation Smile, a worldwide children's medical charity, honored Harrison Ford, John Stamos and Susan Casden at its 9th Annual Smile Gala on September 24, 2010, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions announced the full casting today for the second national tour of Billy Elliot the Musical beginning October 30 at the Durham Performing Arts Center. Tony Award-winner Faith Prince stars as Mrs. Wilkinson along with Giuseppe Bausilio, Michael Dameski, Kylend Hetherington, Lex Ishimoto and Daniel Russell in the role of 'Billy.'

Helen Hunt will depart David Cromer's acclaimed production of Thornton Wilder's Our Town Sunday, August 1st, at the Barrow Street Theatre. Ms. Hunt was the sixth actor to assume the iconic role in this record-breaking production.

Anthony Mackie, who can currently be seen on Broadway in A BEHANDING IN SPOKANE, will join Hugh Jackman in the forthcoming film 'Real Steel.' The film is set for a release in November 2011.

Wreghitt announced today that TALLEY'S FOLLY, the classic Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Lanford Wilson (Burn This, Fifth of July, Balm in Gilead) will have its first-ever Broadway revival as part of the 2010-2011 Season. The production will begin previews in spring 2011, with exact dates and a theater to be announced.

ET Online is reporting that DreamWorks Studios is holding an open call for a young male actor for a lead role in upcoming film ‘Real Steel,' starring Hugh Jackman. The role in question is Max, a 'street-smart, tough, charming kid with a hard, untrusting outer shell which hides a warm enthusiastic spirit...a complicated, strong-willed and resourceful boy.' DreamWorks is looking for a 10-14 year old male actor for the part.

The winners of the 2009 Directors Guild of America Outstanding Directorial Achievement Awards and the recipients of the Guild's 2010 Career Achievement Awards were announced last night during the 62nd Annual DGA Awards Dinner at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles. Kathryn Bigelow won the DGA's Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for The Hurt Locker. Following the welcome by DGA President Taylor Hackford to an audience of more than 1,600 guests, director/actor Carl Reiner hosted the ceremony.
