Florida Studio Theatre presents the Southeastern Regional Premiere of the contemporary rock musical Next to Normal.

The Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) will present a workshop of THE PIPER, a new musical featuring music and lyrics by Grammy Award-winning composer Marcus Hummon ('Bless the Broken Road') and book by Michael Aman and Hummon.

Drake Bell and Lindsay Pearse flew in from hollywood to star in a staged reading of the John Denver/Stewart F. Lane new musical, A Moment in Time, at Playwrights Horizons last week. John Denver, a singer, songwriter and humanitarian, has received numerous awards during his life including, two Grammies, an Emmy, and has been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. A talented cast, led by Broadway star STACIA FERNANDEZ, is preparing for the opening of the contemporary rock musical Next to Normal at Florida Studio Theatre. Performances begin in the Keating Theatre November 2 - January 7.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey ushers in the Fall portion of its 2011 Season with Othello -- Shakespeare's tragic tale of love, jealousy and betrayal featuring a prestigious cast of Shakespeare Theatre veterans including Lindsay Smiling and Robert Cuccioli. Performances of Othello end October 2 at the Theatre's Main Stage, the intimate F.M. Kirby Theatre.
