Abby and Martha may seem sweet, but their idea of hospitality is, well...creative. Audiences have been roaring at Arsenic and Old Lace for six decades - now locals can enjoy it at The Players Club of Swarthmore Theater.

The Players Club of Swarthmore Theater has a fun 'Trick and Treat' on stage this October. The Brewster Sisters seem so sweet... but their elderberry wine (the treat) packs a real punch (that would be the trick). In Arsenic and Old Lace - opening October 21st.

The musicals are by Will Buck, Matt Boresi, Emma Caywood, Jess Godwin Keith Harrison and Peter Hillard and will be directed by Alan Paul with Music Direction by Kory Danielson and Choreography by Katie Spelman & Zach Zube.

There comes a moment in the current revival of Oklahoma! (now onstage at Cumberland County Playhouse through September 2) when Jason Ross, the actor playing peddler Ali Hakim comes onstage and action stops for a thundering ovation from the audience. Yep, Jason Ross is so popular with Playhouse audiences that he gets entrance applause - a sure sign that an actor has been doing something right so far as the audience is concerned. Sure, they love other Playhouse veterans just as much, but to say that Jason Ross is beloved by audiences is not, by any stretch of the imagination, hyperbole.
