The Reduced Shakespeare Company (RSC) is pulling out all of the comedy weapons in its oversized arsenal to set off a laugh riot at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. The RSC, which has been rapidly reducing expectations since 1981, is premiering its ninth stage show, THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF COMEDY (abridged), from Nov. 9 to Dec. 29 in the Playhouse's Thompson Shelterhouse Theatre.

Tarragon Theatre presents TheatreRUN's The Double, an hilarious and innovative adaptation of the Fyodor Dostoevsky novella of the same name, created and performed by TheatreRUN Artistic Director Adam Paolozza (who also directs), Arif Mirabdolbaghi (bass-player and lyricist of the award-winning Canadian progressive metal band, Protest The Hero) and international actor Viktor Lukawski. Barter Theatre has released the results of a major study measuring the theatre's impact on the local economy. The independent study determined that Barter Theatre is responsible for generating $34 million in economic impact and supporting 485 jobs across the economic spectrum. Barter is a non-profit organization with an annual operating budget of just over $6 million, located in historic downtown Abingdon, Virginia.

Barter Theatre is adding to the paranormal activity in Abingdon this fall with 'The Ghost in the Meadow,' a present-day ghost story, beginning tonight, September 10.

A maverick Chicago cop uncovers a conspiracy that people with immense power will stop at nothing, not even murder, to keep secret. Set up as the killer of his only witness, he must find a way to clear himself and expose the conspiracy, which changes the course of history. Richard Rose hails from Kokomo, Indiana. Teen dances, basketball and too many greasy French fries were followed with a BA at Wabash College. Lakeshore Records will release the Antiviral – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack digitally today, May 21, 2013. Antiviral was written and directed by Brandon Cronenberg and debuted at Cannes in 2012. E.C. Woodley (Rhinoceros Eyes, The Dark Hours) composed the original score.
