'[Thank you] to an incredible cast of British and American actors who make the Atlantic look like a little creek you can just kind of pop across,' said Dame Helen Mirren upon receiving her 2015 Tony Award. The stage and screen star reprised her critically-acclaimed performance in THE AUDIENCE after a West End run in 2013, and she was just one of many to 'pop across' an ocean for a stab at Broadway.  An unprecedented amount of British talent took over Broadway last year, bringing us such productions as THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, WOLF HALL: PARTS 1 & 2, and SKYLIGHT.   It doesn't seem like the trend is ending anytime soon. This fall, Broadway will welcome a slew of British actors- some of whom will be making their US stage debuts in incoming productions. And it's not just performers. We're getting some complete British imports in shows like A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE and KING CHARLES III. Below, we're taking a moment to shine a spotlight on this season's British imports.

Direct from two completely sold-out engagements in London, where it swept the 2015 Olivier Awards winning for Best Revival, Best Director, and Best Actor (Mark Strong), A View from the Bridge is being presented during playwright Miller's centenary and will mark the Broadway debut of the acclaimed Belgian director van Hove. The 17-week limited engagement begins previews tonight, October 21, opens Thursday, November 12, and will run through Sunday, February 21, 2016. Beginning today, Monday, August 24, onstage seating is now available for the Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE directed by Ivo van Hove, which producers Scott Rudin and Lincoln Center Theater will bring to Broadway this fall.  For a more immersive experience, audiences are now able to purchase onstage seats, located on two sides of the stage, for $50 each during previews ($135 each after opening).  The view from these seats will be unrestricted and audience members will have a unique opportunity to be right beside the action onstage.

Producers Scott Rudin and Lincoln Center Theater have announced that actor Russell Tovey will play the role of Rodolpho in the Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE directed by Ivo van Hove, opening on Broadway this fall.  In addition, Richard Hansell, a member of the original Young Vic company, will reprise his role as Louis.

Today 26 March 2015 at 7pm, cinema audiences will have the opportunity to watchMark Strong lead the cast in Ivo Van Hove's five star Young Vic production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge broadcast from the Wyndham's Theatre in London's West End as part of National Theatre Live.

The West End transfer of the Young Vic's production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge opened last night at the Wyndham's Theatre. Mark Strong leads the cast as Eddie Carbone and is joined by Emun Elliott as Marco, Phoebe Fox as Catherine, Michael Gould as Alfieri, Richard Hansell as Louis, Luke Norris as Rodolpho and Nicola Walker as Beatrice.

Mark Strong leads the cast as Eddie Carbone in the West End transfer of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge. Ivo Van Hove's five star Young Vic production plays at the Wyndham's Theatre for a strictly limited eight week season to 11 April 2015. Acclaimed by audiences and critics alike, A View from the Bridge opened at the Young Vic in April last year where the production enjoyed an extended sell-out run.

On Thursday 26 March 2015 at 7pm, cinema audiences will have the opportunity to watchMark Strong lead the cast in Ivo Van Hove's five star Young Vic production of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge broadcast from the Wyndham's Theatre in London's West End as part of National Theatre Live. The National Theatre's ground-breaking project, NT Live, broadcasts the best of theatre live from the stage to cinemas across the UK and around the world. Over 1500 screenings will take place in over 40 countries with further encore screenings to be announced. Tickets for the A View from the Bridge NT Live screenings go on sale today. Over 5000 on stage seats go on sale today (22 December 2014) for the West End transfer of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge led by Mark Strong as Eddie Carbone. In addition, tickets for an additional preview performance also go on sale today with the run now beginning at the Wyndham's Theatre on 10 February 2015.

Macbeth, Jamie Lloyd's inaugural production in a season of work for Trafalgar Transformed, will be staged at Trafalgar Studios from 9 February until 27 April, with press night on 22 February 2013. Design for Jamie Lloyd's season is by Soutra Gilmour, who won the 2012 Evening Standard Award for Best Design for Inadmissible Evidence at the Donmar Warehouse, directed by Lloyd, and Antigone at the National Theatre.

Claire Foy (White Heat, Little Dorrit, The Promise) will play Lady Macbeth, alongside the previously announced BAFTA winning and Golden Globe nominated actor James McAvoy (The Last King of Scotland, Atonement, X-Men) as Macbeth. Joining them, to complete the cast, are Jamie Ballard (Macduff), Graeme Dalling (Donalbain), Lisa Gardner (Witch), Kevin Guthrie (Lennox), Richard Hansell (Ross), Forbes Masson (Banquo), Allison McKenzie (Witch), Olivia Morgan (Witch), Catherine Murray (Caithness), Callum O'Neill (Angus), Mark Quartley (Malcolm) and Hugh Ross (Duncan/Doctor).
