On Sunday, March 28, Jordan Roth, President of Jujamcyn Theaters, continues his multi-evening 92nd Street Y conversation series, 'Broadway Talks,' with Academy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning actress Laura Linney. Among other topics, Roth and Linney will discuss her current role in Time Stands Still, at the 92nd Street Y (1395 Lexington Avenue at 92nd Street). The event will take place at 7:30pm.

Seattle Repertory Theatre celebrates the 25th anniversary of August Wilson's beloved story of baseball and family, Fences. The play is being staged in a number of notable productions across the country, including on Broadway next month. Seattle Rep's production, which plays March 26-April 18, 2010, is proud to include Wilson's widow Constanza Romero as the costume designer.

The Marian Anderson Award has announced the guest artists for the upcoming Award Gala on April 6, 2010, at the Kimmel Center, honoring comedian and educator Bill Cosby. In announcing the program, Award Chair Pamela A. Crawley noted that 'This year is our 11th Award, and we will be honoring an individual who, like Marian Anderson, was shaped by Philadelphia and then helped shape our culture.
Broadway Vet and Oscar Winner Louis Gossett Jr. Battles Prostate Cancer

Broadway star Louis Gossett Jr. announced today that he is battling prostate cancer. Gossett Jr. said he was able to catch the cancer in its early stages and is receiving treatment. He is also using this opportunity to encourage other African-Americans to be examined early as to avoid any future complications.

Cygnet Theatre is proud to present the San Diego premiere staged-reading of acclaimed writer Stephen Metcalfe's Tragedy of the Commons. The cast will include Jim Winker, Manny Fernandes, Monique Gaffney, Francis Gercke, Veronica Murphy and Tim West and will be directed by Stephen Metcalfe. Tragedy of the Commons will be presented ONE NIGHT ONLY at Cygnet's Old Town Theatre on Monday, December 7th, 2009 at 7:30pm. A wine and appetizer meet-and-greet will precede the reading, and a talk-back with the cast and playwright, Stephen Metcalfe, will immediately follow the reading.
