"I am grateful to the Nuyorican for offering me a home base. It?s there that I found the time to really connect with my audiences. It?s the greatest compliment, to meet audience members for a second time, because they didn?t just tell their friends and family about it, but that they wanted to return to share it with them. I think it speaks about the play as an experience that can?t help but unify," says writer and performer Elaine Del Valle of her autobiographical one woman show.
