Following critical acclaim at the Savoy Theatre, the Chichester Festival Theatre revival of Guys and Dolls transfers to the Phoenix Theatre whilst simultaneously touring the UK this spring. The West End production opened 19 March and is booking until 30 October, whilst the UK tour is running simultaneously, opening in Liverpool on 16 March and touring throughout the UK until 30 July, closing in Woking. The BBC have denied to BWW:UK that they are planning to film the current West End run of Guys and Dolls at the Savoy.

The cast for the UK tour of Guys and Dolls has been announced by the host theatres! It includes Richard Fleeshman (Coronation Street, Ghost the Musical, Call the Midwife) as Sky Masterson, Maxwell Caulfield (Grease 2, Emmerdale, The Colbys) as Nathan Detroit, Louise Dearman (Wicked, Evita) as Adelaide and Anna O'Byrne (Love Never Dies) as Sarah Brown.

Making their Chichester debuts as George and Maud are Richard Fleeshman (UrineTown, Ghost: The Musical, Legally Blonde) and the Olivier Award nominated Summer Strallen (Top Hat, Love Never Dies, The Sound of Music). The stellar cast also includes Desmond Barrit (The History Boys, Wicked and numerous RSC productions), Isla Blair (Made in Dagenham, The Lyons, Festival 2009'sCollaboration), Richard Dempsey (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Michael Grandage's A Midsummer Night's Dream), Nicholas Farrell (Festival 2011's South Downs / The Browning Version, 37 Days and Chariots of Fire) and Sally Ann Triplett (Follies!, Anything Goes, Guys and Dolls).

George is an American composer working at the Savoy Theatre in London. Maud is the thoroughly English Lady Marshmoreton, a beautiful socialite who lives in a castle with a ha-ha and a drawbridge.

Avenue Q star Julie Atherton is to play Janet in the highly anticipated Rocky Horror sequel, a role previously played by Jessica Harper in the film and made famous by Susan Sarandon in The Rocky Horror Picture Show. As well as her roles as Kate Monster and Lucy the Slut in the original London cast of Avenue Q, Atherton also starred as Sister Mary Robert in the first UK tour of Sister Act: The Musical and recently won critical acclaim in the title role inTherese Raquin at the Finborough Theatre and the Park Theatre. Her third album, Rush of Life, was released at the end of 2014.
