Emblem/Atlantic recording group Matchbox Twenty and Warner Bros Records recording group Goo Goo Dolls will embark on a co-headlining tour throughout North America this summer. The tour will kick off on June 25th at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH and run throughout August

Popular recording artist, Broadway star, and concert performer Linda Eder announced today that the long-awaited follow-up to her critically acclaimed holiday CD 'Christmas Stays the Same' (on which her 2001 BRAVO-TV concert special of the same name was based) would be released in the fall of 2013.

Placido Domingo, LA Opera's Eli and Edythe Broad General Director, announced today that James Conlon, the Company's Richard Seaver Music Director, has extended his contract with LA Opera through the end of the 2017/2018 season. Renowned Pipa virtuoso Wu Man returns to Houston - this time for the debut of classical music ensemble The Knights - tonight, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m. in Wortham Center's Cullen Theater, presented by Society for the Performing Arts.

The Knights Orchestra with Wu Man Playing the Pipa (Chinese Lute) will perform at Comstock Hall (U of L Music School) today, February 17th at 3:00 p.m.

On Monday, March 11, at 8:00 p.m., the versatile and commanding mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe, joined by frequent collaborator, pianist Warren Jones, makes her Carnegie Hall recital debut in Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage with a deeply personal program of American song. Ms. Blythe's program features Twelve Poems of Emily Dickinson, a set of songs written for her by the late composer James Legg, and Samuel Barber's Three Songs, Op. 10, powerful settings of three poems by James Joyce. Also featured are songs by Tin Pan Alley songwriters Ray Henderson, Cole Porter, and Irving Berlin.
