The suspected attacker is described as a 20-something Hispanic man, around 160 pounds and 6-feet-tall, police said in media news reports. He has short, cropped black hair and was clothed in black jeans and a black jacket at the time of the attack. He fled the scene in a gray, four door Nissan with Mississippi license plate, KAT-397.

Gener was reportedly assaulted on January 17th, shortly before 4 a.m. after leaving a party in midtown, and was found in the vicinity of 7th Avenue near 54th/55th Street. He is said to have suffered severe head trauma, from which he is currently recovering in the Neuro ICU.

Italy's Dario D'Ambrosi is a radical innovator of the theater and founder of the movement called Teatro Patologico (Pathological Theater). Having staged revolutionary interpretations of 'Richard III' in 1996 and 'Romeo and Juliet' in 2009, he is now taking on 'Hamlet' with a new full-length work, 'Hamlet Hallucinations.' La Mama E.T.C., D'Ambrosi's theatrical home in the USA, will present the work's world premiere tonight, October 17 to November 3.
