New York, NY, (March 12, 2016) – The Wendy Osserman Dance Company will celebrate its 40th Anniversary season with four performances, running April 20 – 23, 2016 at 8 pm. Presented by the Theater for the New City (155 1st Avenue), the season will feature two world premieres with live music by Skip La Plante and Harry Mann, and Osserman's Udjat (1985).

Puppetry from the U.S., Japan, Belgium and Colombia will be featured in the 2015 LA MAMA PUPPET SERIES set for today, November 5 to 29 on all four of La MaMa's stages in New York City. Free performances will tour City streets, parks and playgrounds throughout the five boroughs through September 20. Westbeth Gallery 55 Bethune Street to host opening reception for CORRESPONDENCE Exhibition tonight, Saturday, May 2, 6 to 8 p.m.

CORRESPONDENCE presents works by forty visual and performing artists inspired by letters and postcards written to Steve Clorfeine, the creator and curator of the exhibition, over a period of fifty years. The exhibition will be on view at the Westbeth Gallery from today, May 2 through 17, 2015.

Ralph Lee's Mettawee River Theatre Company will return for its annual September season in the lovely Outdoor Garden of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine with 'The Dancing Fox: Wisdom Tales of the Middle East,' five enchanting tales from the shared folk traditions of Jews and Arabs, including the writings of Sufi mystics, along with fables and folklore of the region. Six weekend performances, September 5, 6, 7 and 12, 13, 14 at 7:30 PM in the Garden, entrance on 111th Street & Amsterdam Avenue.
