City Theatre continues its 40th anniversary season with the comedy Oblivion, by Carly Mensch, directed by Stuart Carden, on-stage in the Hamburg Studio Theatre March 21 - April 26, 2015.

The Irish Repertory Theatre begins the ninth season of its Reading Series with Janet Noble's LOUISE BROOKS: FOR THE HELL OF IT. The staged reading will be held today, October 30 at 3pm at the DR2 Theater, 103 East 15th Street, the Irish Repertory Theatre's temporary home during its current renovation. Tickets are free, and the event is open to the public. An RSVP to 212-727-2737 is suggested.

PTP/NYC's 27th anniversary season opened on July 10 at The Atlantic Stage 2. The opening night party guests included five-time Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk Award winner Jan Maxwell, Kristine Nielsen (Broadway: Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), Jennifer Van Dyck (Broadway: Hedda Gabler, Dancing at Lughnasa and Two Shakespearean Actors), Quentin Mare (Broadway: Rock 'n' Roll, Coram Boy, Julius Caesar) and Stephanie Janssen (Broadway: Mrs. Warren's Profession). Last night, Primary Stages opened Happy Now? by Lucinda Coxon. With direction by Liz Diamond, the seven-member cast features Kate Arrington as Bea, Kelly AuCoin as Johnny, Mary Bacon as Kitty, Brian Keane as Carl, Joan MacIntosh as June, Quentin Mare as Miles and CJ Wilson as Michael. Performances began on January 26, 2010 and will run through Saturday, March 6, 2010 only at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. BroadwayWorld was on hand to celebrate the evening.

LUCINDA COXON, author of the critically-acclaimed new play HAPPY NOW?, currently receiving its American premiere at Yale Repertory Theatre, has written the screenplay for The Danish Girl, based on David Ebershoff's novel, which will star Nicole Kidman (who will also produce the film) and Charlize Theron.

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE (James Bundy, Artistic Director; Victoria Nolan, Managing Director) presents the American premiere of HAPPY NOW? by Lucinda Coxon, directed by Liz Diamond, at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). Opening Night is October 30 with performances running through November 15th.

Rock 'n'n Roll playwright Tom Stoppard will appear on 'Theater Talk' tonight Friday, February 8 at 1AM. 'Theater Talk' airs locally on Thirteen/WNET and CUNY-TV.

Rock 'n' Roll star Rufus Sewell will be interviewed on NY-1's 'On Stage' by Patrick Pacheco in a segment that will air Saturday, February 2nd and Sunday, February 3rd at 9:30 AM and 7:30 PM, and Monday, February 4th (early Tuesday) at 12:30 AM.

Rock 'n' Roll author Tom Stoppard will be featured this weekend, Saturday, January 19 and Sunday, January 20 on 'NY 1 Close Up.' The show, produced in association with The New York Times, runs on NY 1 on Time Warner Cable on Saturday at 10:00 PM and Sunday at 10:00 AM.

Tom Stoppard's Rock 'n' Roll had its best week yet on Broadway, grossing $501,015.83 for the week of December 3 - 9. The production, directed by Trevor Nunn, opened to rave reviews on Sunday, November 4 at the Jacobs Theatre

The segment with correspondent Jeff Brown features interviews with playwright Tom Stoppard, director Trevor Nunn and star Rufus Sewell.
