CAP 21 Theatre Company presents SOUTHERN COMFORT, a new musical by Dan Collins (book and lyrics) and Julianne Wick Davis (music), based on Kate Davis' 2001 Sundance award-winning documentary about transgender friends in rural Georgia. Co-starring Annette O'Toole and Jeff McCarthy, previews begin October 5, prior to its official press opening October 6 at the CAP21 Black Box Theater (18 West 18th Street) in Manhattan. Tom Caruso (ZOMBIE, MIMI LE DUCK) directs.

In exactly one month and one day, Lortel nominated composer/lyricist team Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen (The Burnt Part Boys) raised the necessary funds to record the studio cast album of their 2008 Drama Desk Award nominated show Fugitive Songs.

The newly imagined Broadway production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER starring Grammy and Emmy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Harry Connick, Jr. will open on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at The St James Theatre. Previews are set to begin on November 12, 2011. The delightful Tony Award nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer.

Playwrights Horizons will present the New York premiere of COMPLETENESS, a new play by Itamar Moses (The Four of Us, Bach at Leipzig). Directed by Obie Award winner Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park at PH, The Four of Us, Occupant, Peter and Jerry), the production will begin previews Friday, August 19 at 8PM with an Opening Night set for Tuesday, September 13 at 7PM. Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Michael Aronov, Jeremy Davidson, Robert Hogan, Jefferson Mays, Andrés Munar, Paul Niebanck, John Procaccino, Liv Rooth, Gabriel Ruiz, Pej Vahdat, Andrew Weems and Bernard White will be featured in its upcoming production of BLOOD AND GIFTS, a new play by J.T. Rogers, to be directed by Bartlett Sher, beginning Thursday, October 27 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). Opening night is Monday, November 21.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the full cast joining star and three-time Tony Award winner Frank Langella as 'Gregor Antonescu' in Terence Rattigan's drama Man and Boy, directed by Maria Aitken.

PTP/NYC, formerly known as The Potomac Theatre Project, in association with Middlebury College, presents '25 on 25', a special 25th Anniversary celebration featuring the work of Middlebury College artists. '25 on 25' takes place on Monday, July 25 at The Atlantic Stage 2, located at 330 West 16th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues in New York City. '25 on 25' begins at 1pm and runs until 11pm, and features 10 hours of readings, presentations and panel discussions of works written, directed and performed by Middlebury artists.
