Debuting tonight, December 16, Steve Wynn's ShowStoppers brings a vibrant and talented cast of 34 singers and dancers, backed by an on-stage 30-piece orchestra, to the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas.

Available now, 'The Business of Show: A Guide to the Entertainment Business for the Performing Artist' is a non-fiction publication by Broadway choreographer Adam Cates.

The classic musical from Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II is the fourth production of Starlight's 2014 Broadway season. Internationally known Director Philip Wm. McKinley will direct The Sound of Music at Starlight Theatre, July 25-31. McKinley previously directed Broadway's Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark and The Boy From Oz starring Hugh Jackman, as well as the internationally acclaimed 'Mozart L'OPERA ROCK' which premiered last year in Tokyo, Japan.

Just yesterday, the cast of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, including Reeve Carney, Robert Cuccioli, Rebecca Faulkenberry, and Christina DeCicco celebrated the show's 1,000 performance on Broadway with special surprise guests. According to the New York Times, Julie Taymor came out of her lawsuit against the producers of SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK with better billing. As of March 2011, when Taymor was officially fired as director of the musical, Taymor was credited on the show playbill with 'Original Direction By' just under Philip Wm. McKinley, who was credited as director. Now as per terms in the settlement, Taymor is listed as director above McKinley, who's credit has been changed to 'additional direction by.'
