During the 2013 winter season, New York City Ballet will launch a new initiative called the New York City Ballet Art Series. The series will feature annual collaborations with contemporary visual artists who will create original works inspired by NYCB that will be exhibited at the Company's home at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center.

New York City Ballet's 2013 winter repertory performances will begin on Tuesday, January 15, kicking off with an All-Tschaikovsky/All-Balanchine program consisting of Serenade, Mozartiana, and Tschaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 2.

In the crisp, morning hours on December 27, 2012 I got the chance to speak with Lara Teeter, who will be playing Cap'n Andy in the upcoming production of SHOW BOAT at Houston Grand Opera. New York City Ballet announced today that the Company will present a World Premiere by NYCB dancer and choreographer Justin Peck as part of the Company's annual New Combinations Evening on Friday, January 31, 2013. David Hutchinson and Phillip Rowntree for Sell a Door Theatre Company present PETER, a new play by Stacy Sobieski. Hutchinson and Rowntree announced the cast for the production. PETER opens at the LOST Theatre tonight, 23rd October and runs until the 10th November 2012.
