New York City comedian Tanya O'Debra's New York Innovative Theatre Award nominated solo show, RADIO STAR is being presented by the 2012 Cincy Fringe Festival, June 1-8.

The Veteran Center for the Performing Arts presents an evening exploring the soldiers experience through the timeless words of William Shakespeare - CRY HAVOC conceived by Stefan Wolfert and directed by Eric Tucker & Bruce Cervi. CRY HAVOC will open on Saturday, May 26th and run through Monday, June 4th at The Shakespeare Center LA - Studio Space, 1238 West 1st Street in Downtown Los Angeles.

In a wide-ranging conversation covering many of her theatrical collaborations with Stephen Flaherty from their first musical, LUCKY STIFF, in the 1980s, to their Tony-winning success with RAGTIME in the 1990s, to their astounding slate of shows since - SEUSSICAL: THE MUSICAL, DESSA ROSE and THE GLORIOUS ONES included - all the way up to 2012 and their new musical in pre-production in Germany, ROCKY, based on the iconic 1975 Oscar-winning Sylvester Stallone-starring boxing film. Opera and Theatre director Sir Jonathan Miller will return to the British theatre stage next year for the first time in five years to helm the Northern Broadsides production of Githa Sowerby's Rutherford & Son. The Studio Theatre follows up its 2008 hit production of The History Boys with Alan Bennett's next play, The Habit of Art. Deep in the bowels of London's National Theatre, rehearsals for a new play go apace: Benjamin Britten is having trouble with his latest opera and seeks out his collaborator, poet W. H. Auden, after a twenty-five year separation. Between visits by a rent boy and a biographer-whom Auden briefly mistakes for the rent boy-these aging artists wrestle with their desires, their jealousies, the ephemeral connection between creativity and inspiration, and all the reasons their friendship fell apart.

The Castillo Theatre (Dan Friedman, artistic director, Diane Stiles, managing director, Craig Pattison, festival director) soon opens Part 2 of the Young Playwrights From Castillo festival, featuring scripts written over the course of a year-long writing workshop led by Castillo's artistic director, Dan Friedman. There is an invited final dress rehearsal on Thursday, June 23rd at 7:30 p.m., open to press.
