PRIVATE LIVES Tickets Now On Sale

Tickets are now on sale to the general public for the Broadway production of Private Lives at www.Telecharge.com or 212-239-6200. Kim Cattrall and Paul Gross will star on Broadway this autumn in Noël Coward's Private Lives, directed by Richard Eyre at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Previews begin on Sunday, November 6; opening night is Thursday, November 17. The limited engagement runs through February 5, 2012. It will play a limited run at Toronto's Royal Alexandra Theatre prior to Broadway.

The Tempest, the third production in the Trevor Nunn Season, opened last night, 6 September and is booking until 29 October 2011. Set and costume designs are by Stephen Brimson Lewis, with lighting by Paul Pyant, sound by Paul Groothuis and music by Shaun Davey. The Tempest is produced by the Theatre Royal Haymarket Company, Duncan C Weldon, Paul Elliott & Terri and Timothy Childs.

Bloomington Early Music Festival Opens Sept. 7

The 18th annual Bloomington Early Music Festival (BLEMF), held Sept. 7-11, continues a tradition of collaboration with the IU Jacobs School of Music Early Music Institute, presenting renowned local and national musicians, many of whom are alumni, students and faculty.

Trevor Nunn's production of William Shakespeare's The Tempest began preview performances at the Theatre Royal Haymarket on 27 August, press night is on 6 September and the production is booking until 29 October 2011. This fall, Mirvish Productions brings the critically acclaimed UK production of Noel Coward's Private Lives to Toronto for a pre-Broadway run at The Royal Alexandra Theatre. Kim Cattrall leads the cast, and on May 31st it was announced that Canadian stage and screen actor Paul Gross would join her as her co-star. The final performance of Sean Mathias' production of Waiting for Godot starring Ian McKellen (Estragon), Roger Rees (Vladimir), Matthew Kelly (Pozzo) and Ronald Pickup (Lucky) will take place on Sunday 4 April as previously announced. Mathias' production opened at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in May last year following a UK national tour and has been revived for this final run before the production tours to Australia and New Zealand.
