The Second City Toronto is proud to announce an exciting group of performers for The Bob Curry Fellowship, who will write and perform an original sketch revue on Monday, April 24, 2017 on The Second City Mainstage. The fellowship honours The Second City's first African American alum, Bob Curry, who performed on the mainstage in 1966.

24 hours before show time, all performer groups are drawn from a hat and they will have 24 hours to create their set.

The Second City is proud to present two holiday shows this season with Eat, Buy, Repeat: The Second City's Guide To The Holidays, perfect for family or office holiday parties; and What The Elf?!?, funny for the whole family! 

Paul Barnes, co-founder and former producing and artistic director of Minnesota's Great River Shakespeare Festival, directs a workshop production of Michael Raver's play, Fire on Babylon at The Wild Project as part of the 2016 Fresh Fruit Festival. The play features Jeffrey Hayenga (Roundabout's The Importance of Being Earnest) and playwright Raver (How We Built the Bomb) Set and Prop Design by Marc Wheeler, Costumes by Edward Ray Kiely and Lighting Design by Mike Billings.

Two musicals, two searing dramas, a renowned classic, and an all-time favorite comedy-thriller make up the 2016/2017 Syracuse Stage season.

Paul Barnes, co-founder and former producing and artistic director of Minnesota's Great River Shakespeare Festival, directs an encore free reading of Michael Raver's new play, RIPTIDE, at Pearl Studios (519, eighth avenue, 12th Floor) on April 18th at 3:30 & 6 pm.

Due to high demand for matinee performances, Syracuse Stage has added a performance of Peter Pan on Tuesday, December 29 at 2:00 p.m. These daytime performances are very popular with families and young children and many are sold out.

Pianists Paul Barnes and Alexander Djordjevic will celebrate one of the most influential music makers of our time, American composer Philip Glass, with a concert on Sunday, October 4th at 3:00 pm at PianoForte Studios, 1335 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60605.

SU Drama's 2015/16 season features six productions, including three musicals, starting in October with the Cole Porter classic Kiss Me, Kate. Second in the season is Agamemnon, the haunting Greek classic, followed by a co-production with Syracuse Stage, Peter Pan. After winter break, the season continues with Punk Rock and the country-flavored musical The Spitfire Grill. Closing the season in May is the comedy A Flea in Her Ear.

The Clarence Brown Theatre announces its nine-play lineup for the 2015/2016 Season, which includes a gut-busting spoof of a Hitchcock thriller, a Steinbeck classic, two holiday productions, the World Premiere of a CBT-commissioned comedy, a Rodgers and Hammerstein masterpiece, and more! The 2015/16 Season at Syracuse Stage is bookended with comedies. Opening the season in October is Steve Martin's farcical romp The Underpants. The season will close in May 2016 with a brand new madcap comedy spoof of Sherlock Holmes' most famous case in Ken Ludwig's Baskerville: a Sherlock Holmes Mystery.

The Flea presents the World Premiere of I SEE YOU by Kate Robin. This romantic comedy will be directed by Flea Artistic Director Jim Simpson. Previews of this limited run Off-Broadway engagement begin tonight, November 7 with opening slated for Sunday, November 16.
