Few stories are as timeless or reveal the courage and resilience of the human spirit as The Miracle Worker. Follow the story of young Helen Keller, deaf and blind since infancy, as she finds her way into the world of knowledge and understanding with the help of Annie Sullivan, her gifted tutor. In some of the most turbulent and emotion-packed scenes ever presented on the stage, Helen overcomes rage and confusion to triumph over her physical disabilities.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Nancy Dussault in "MY LIFE UPON THE WICKED STAGE" on September 27, 2016 @ 7:00PM. Nancy will take the audience on a musical journey, returning to those heady days of her Broadway life. Expect this Golden Age leading lady to sing the brilliant songs of Richard Rodgers, Jule Styne, Burton Lane, and Stephen Sondheim. You'll also get to re-live the time when she introduced the classic, "Make Someone Happy". Nancy will regale with tales of being the first co-host of Good Morning America, co-starring in the New Dick Van Dyke show, and starring with Ted Knight in "Too Close For Comfort", before returning to Broadway in Side By Side By Sondheim and Into The Woods. In "My Life-Upon The Wicked Stage" Dussault brings her musicality, comedic storytelling, and unique personal accessibility to songs including "Getting Married Today", "Look To The Rainbow", "Where Is The Tribe For Me", "Old Friend" and of course, " Make Someone Happy".

SAG-AFTRA mourns the passing of former Screen Actors Guild President Anna Patty Duke Pearce, better known as Patty Duke. Duke was elected president in 1985, becoming the second female president of the union. Duke was an Oscar and Emmy-winning actor, labor activist, and pioneering advocate for mental health issues. She was 69.

Artists Repertory Theatre is pleased to announce that The Miracle Worker will extend through January 10, 2016. The theatre is delighted that Portland audiences are excited to see this production of one of the most inspirational and triumphant stories of the human spirit ever told this holiday season. Following in the footsteps of our runaway hit musical Cuba Libre earlier this year, The Miracle Worker is the second show of Artists Rep's 2015/16 season that has extended prior to the official opening night.
