AMC Docudrama MAKING OF THE MOB to Premiere Late 2015

AMC announced today that the network will premiere a special event mini-series “Making of The Mob: New York,” chronicling the historical roots of the original Five Families that led to the formation of the modern American Mafia. The docu-drama is being produced by Emmy® Award-winning Stephen David Entertainment (“The World Wars,” “The Men Who Built America”) and will consist of eight, one-hour episodes premiering in second quarter 2015.

Trained by members of the Red Bull Air Force, Blue Man Group will take the daring leap at 7,000-feet high above the property and glide to the earth, landing on Rue De Monte Carlo at 10 a.m.

Goodman will be at The Plaza Hotel and Casino's free public screening of the new CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode Wednesday night. The episode features the former Las Vegas Mayor in a Mob Museum-centric script.

Legendary singer-songwriter Barry Manilow's non-profit organization, the Manilow Music Project (www.manilowmusicproject.org) put more than $500,000 worth of musical instruments into the hands of 15 Clark County School District middle schools and high schools during a ceremony on Thursday, October 7 at Valley High School in Clark County, Nevada. Reinvigorating the school system's music program at a critical time of need; this is the single largest donation of its kind in Clark County history for a music program. 'The happiest mayor in the world,' Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman, was also on hand, as the five semi-trucks left directly from the event to drop the brand new instruments at schools across Clark County.

Yesterday, June 15, Dita Von Teese joined Virgin Atlantic CEO Sir Richard Branson and Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman in celebrating 10 years of Virgin Atlantic Airways Flights to Vegas from London at the Las Vegas McCarran International Airport. In celebration of the 10th Anniversary, Branson unveiled a plane featuring a flying lady on the outside of the aircraft in the iconic guise of Dita Von Teese.
